What are you sitting on while out

I was sitting at home the other night and noticed that my nightgown did not completely cover my bottom while sitting down. I stood up to check the length and found that at mid thigh when I sat down even tucking my skirt under my bottom that a lot of "BARE ME" was in contact with the chair. As I wear a Veronica when out I have not felt the surface of what i was sitting on while out and about. I am so glad that I wash my Veronica often as I am sure that most of the time my foundation has been in contact with the chairs and booths I was sitting on. Now when I wear a shorter skirt I will always be sure to have panties covering my bottom so that I do not come in contact with the icky chairs.

Have any of you other girls discovered this as well?

So far I have been pretty lucky. I always fold my skirt under me when I sit down, because I am very aware that the skirt rides up a lot in the back when I sit down. Sometimes I will stand up briefly and then re-sit down to repeat the process to make sure I have it as low as possible.

Yes, I can relate. Not so much with the "hygiene" issue as much as the "skin ripping" issue! I have a leather office chair. When I sit down for awhile, I forget to get up "slowly" and my legs are "stuck" to the chair! Kinda' like what I imagine leg waxing would feel like!

I know, I know..."wear a longer skirt or pants".
Sorry, just not an option for me. The "pain" is worth it...:heehee::D:heehee:

The bluejeans brigade will always sit on their blue jeans. For me it depends on the length and cut of my skirt.
You always sit on long or pencil skirts, also at least partially on tight minis.

Flared , swirly or pleated minis, which I like to wear, allow you to sit on your panties/pantyhose and not crease the skirt at the back where only others can see as you walk away.
I always wear pantyhose anyway, so my legs never stick to anything.
