It seems when I shave sensitive areas I get a small rash of acne afterwards. I'm talking upper inner thighs, right below my navel and between pecs. What's up with that?

Oh, and note to self: Do NOT use Nair to remove nipple hair. YEOW! Three days ago and they're still tender. :duh:

Buy yourself a body brush and a good exfoliating scrub... should sort you out :)

I read here on the forum that a mixture of lemon juice, sugar, and honey work well. I can't wait to try it! I hate those bumps you refer to. Very disgusting. I will let everyone know how it works.

The mixture is used like a wax. Somewhere here there is a recipe with directions.

It's a brush that you scrub your skin with. Makes it lovely and soft, and stops ingrowing hair, and with continued use those little red blotches :) You should use it before a bath or shower about 3 times a week for best results... Oh, and the first few times you use it you'll really feel your heart going 'bang, bang, bang' :)

I've found that those bumps stop appearing as the skin gets accustomed to regular shaving. I had the same problem a few years ago when I started shaving, uh, some parts of me that I never used to shave. I tried all kinds of suggestions to deal with the rash, but nothing really helped. After several weeks my skin seemed to adjust though, and I never have that problem now. Good luck.
