Good News in PA

Penndot (Pennsylvania department of transportation) has announced that it will start letting Transgendered people have their drivers license photo done in the gender the feel. Ok, I mangled that a bit, but here's the specifics: Before today a transgender could only appear as the gender the indentify as if they could prove they've SRS. Now we appear in our drivers license as we choose.:D

Yep. They're following in MA's footsteps.

Native to PA, I have to admit I'm extremely surprised, but happy, about this news. My cousin had e-mailed it to me. Maybe this is on the path for the state to stop sucking so much.

Minnesota also allows this practice also. When I re-newed this spring I had my picture done with a nice sweater and makeup. The ladies at the DMV had so much fun helping me, making sure the picture was cute enough (her words), and when they found out I was transitioning they pulled me over to give me the forms for name and gender marker changes. It was so wonderful.
