I was in the hotel bar tonight, after a wonderful evening with Aeify and Penny Perfect. I was minding my own business, checking the forum on my iPad and nursing a glass of wine. I had noticed a gentleman,30-something, sit down a few stools away. After awhile he started up aconversation with the bartender and joined in where appropriate. After the bartender moved on, the gentleman stared at his drink for a moment and said, "You know, I see a lady but hear a dude.......". I said, "Isnt't life complicated". We went onto have a very nice conversation over the next 30 minutes. I suspect that when he gets back to Jackson, MS that he doesn't tell his friends about his nice time with the tranny in Memphis......

Come on now. You may have been the highlight of his whole trip.

You certainly win Ms QuotableQuote. Have you considered being a filmwriter? While women may be smarter than their mates, but they don't get a lot of witty comebacks on film.

Agree with others, very nice comeback comment.. clever but not insulting :D and then to keep the attention for another 30 minutes of conversation..

and the fly on the wall (Jackson, Ms) hears "I spent a nice evening talking to a pretty woman about life, politics, and beliefs..." :daydreaming:

It's wonderful that you had a good time with forum members :hugs: AND that you had a chance to enlighten someone.

But why do you think he wouldn't want to tell his gf that he sat with you for 30 minutes?

Reine, have you ever been to Jackson, MS? If he told his friends he even saw a tranny and didn't kick the crap out of her he would be shunned!:daydreaming:straightface:

LOL.. I had that thought in my head exactly Renee, that is why I could see him changing that story to fit in with the guys..

course, jaws would drop if you ever find yourself in Jackson and saw him "hey ****, nice to see you again, remember we met...." the reaction from buds would be so funny.. and then he'd get a beatin..

And for the record, not all of MS is that backwoods.. only 1 x 1 mile is not...:heehee::D

Except for SCC last year, I've lived my entire LIFE without meeting or talking with a CD/TG/TS!

Whether he TALKS about your meeting or not, he likely WON'T forget it!:heehee:

Renee, I'm not surprised you were complimented. And, great response.

There are some nice, progressive thinking, crossdresser-accepting folks in Mississippi. You just have to look a lot harder to find them. So, for me, still in the closet.

It was a compliment, he had no clue (lucky you). And be happy about it.

I went to a local Carnivale party Saturday night. At the gate a gentlemen about my age (using the word very loose) ask me if I had my ticket alright. I answer not...."I have a second ticket if you want to go in as my guest."
I answer "I have the money for my own ticket thank you." He reply was " so you are a bitch!" Whatever.
