I wondering if my Polar Bear may be living vicariously through me. Last night she kept talking about how she used to look back in the day, (teens and twentys) and say'n stuff like "if I could still pull off those jeans (that she picked for me BTW) you're wearing, I'd have a pair." She also spoke of how nice I look in my dresses and what not.
We've had simular conversations before.
She loves to show me off to her family and freinds when I'm dressed to.
I'm by no means complaining mind you, in fact i love the attention. However, I wonder if I'm setting myself up for problems down the road, such as beeing controlled, and manipulated? I really don't think she'd be that way, but i don't know, 'cause she also likes to tell me what I can do to make my look better. Up untill last night I took it as constuctive criticism, but last nite she she was handing out some advice, and the tone was a little diferent, more, well, demanding is the word that comes to mind, but it's way to harsh of a word to use here. I've also been told (long time ago) that her first husbsnd made her maintain a standard to her apearence.
I don't know, maybe I'm juust beeing paranoid, after all, she did have a few rough days lately. Maybe her tone last night was a by product of that?
