Well I finally did it. My wife and I went to the mall yesterday and I got my ears pierced. I was so surprised at how different it made me feel. The girl at the shop was so sweet saying that the earrings that I had chosen would look very nice on me. It was such a great experience. I would recommend that anyone considering it run out and do it

It was one of the biggest steps for me, but my Girlfriend was like "pfft go do it!" it felt big to me cause of the permanence but she sited how many manly men have ears pierced that we know and was like "just go ahead if you want" So I went to icing at the mall and have had these black studs in my ears for like 6-7 weeks now, and I have collected three other pairs since then, I wore one pair friday, but I was reading I need to keep something in the ear for the better part of a year to make sure it is all healed up right, so I wear the black studs to work and sleep, and the more dangly ones out :)

ANYWAY, I agree if anyone is on the fence go do it, it is a really small thing that makes you feel really good.

I have worn an earring for the last 30 years in my left ear. My right ear I got recently pierced and am now wearing little diamond studs all the time and of course dangly ones when I am in dress.

It is just such an awesome feeling :)
