View Full Version : Has Something Gone Astray With My Boobs on HRT?

I have been on HRT for working on 7 months months. From a very early start until this past Thursday mid-day, my boobs have really hurt EVERYDAY and I have had what I call very rapid growth as I am a full 36B now.

Mid-day Thursday I actually noticed that my boobs were not hurting at all. Nothing, Nada no pain. The same thing all day yesterday and today as well. Just seems weird to have suddenly stopped hurting, throbbing, aching.

So what does this mean? Have my boobs just stopped growing? Is it over after only 6.5 months?

Anyone else go through this? Need your advice!

My wife is telling me to settle down and be happy they aren't hurting. She's convinced this is just a slow period. I don't know as I have had slow growth periods before but my boobs still hurt then when there was not much apparent activity going on with them.

Your wife is correct -- chances are that your breasts will again come to make themselves felt off and on for awhile yet. Meanwhile, enjoy their quiet period.:)

After the initial spurt, there are cycles of growth/no-growth. One thing to remember is that pain can be a sign of growth, but you can have growth without pain too. As things do slow down, the pain is not nearly so apparent because your tissues have time to adjust - hence discomfort is much less. Unfortunately there isn't a way to know when growth has come to a stop -- until you go several months without any. It normally takes at least 2 years to complete, so patience is a virtue.

Traci...i won't be tooooo much of a party pooper...what the girl are saying is true...it can really come and go...and that really really nice tingle (at least for me) was only for the first couple months...and then growth was more subtle...the one wrench i would throw tho is that for me, when my boobs paused their growth, i also felt a very "blah" feeling and i went and got checked (after waiting WAAAAYYYY TOO long) and i was told that my female Estrogen levels were WAY low, below NATAL MALE FOR MY AGE!!! ugh!!! i was tested again but it was true...the HRT had reduced my estrogen...it worked for 6 months then it just stopped, and my body got pissed off and it stopped producing estrogen too...

it was a very strange time because I had told many of my friends prior to hearing the news that I was concerned about how i felt generally....so listen to your body...
you seem like you understand your health, and just be aware of the possibilities...(btw..i used a transdermal cream....when i changed to shots, my problems vanished and my HRT levels are just where i want them)

if its only about your breasts, then its just gonna happen whatever way your body decides...enjoy what you get and always be wanting just a bit more!! thats how i feel about my boobs, and i got a breast augment done...and i still feel that way!!! just a little little bit more please!! LOL

Growth spurts come and go, as does the pain/itching. I have been growing very slowly and steadily for almost 2 years, but as Kaitlyn said, the "tingly" feeling only came at the very beginning. I'm not unhappy with my results, at the high end of A-cupness, but do wish they would grow closer together to present a bit more of a cleavage. Results do vary greatly, when it comes to boobies. I think you are doing just fine, dear.

Hugs,

Melissa:)

When I had my temporaries (hormone spurt channeled water to the area... or something like that), I found that getting to somewhere around A 1/2 made much more of a difference for cleavage than I ever expected: it was practical for me to do some with one of those adhesive bras. I had previously calculated that considering my measurements that I would need to be somewhere around K cup to get any cleavage; I was happy to be proven wrong

Thanks Melissa. Talking about cleavage and a male's ribcage, I have found the "perfect" bra to bring me together and talk about COMFORT! I don't enven know it is on and it is the softest thing that has ever been on my body.

It is a Victoria Secret's BioFit Uplift Demi Bra. Check these two VS web pages:

You will thank me later.

ps. I buy mine on eBay CHEAP! And since I have outgrown my A Cup Bra's, I had to buy a whole new set of them to fit.

Hee hee! I aready use the Biofit! It's the only bra I will wear. Guess I just need a little more time and with a little luck, some inward growth. Thank you anyhow, sweetie! ...And yes, it is soooo comfy, compared to all others.

Hugs,

Melissa:)

I just knew you were a classy gal and had a taste for comfort. I too have gone through some bra's trying to find the "perfect" one. Thank goodness I did, what a relief!
