As much as I love going ut as a lady either mainstream, or to the gay pub I go too, is preparing the make-up. It takes me a good hour to get everything right. I do admit, I love my make-up and looking beautiful, but I could'nt do it all the time/everyday...
I go out on average twice a month. I think its enough. other than that, i dress everyday at home.

There is a lot of work to being a woman. Some of us are just too lazy to be full-time.

It only takes me 10 seconds to put on MY face!:)

But, I CAN'T go out that way!

There's 2 things that DO bother me about going out dressed! Torches and pitchforks!

It takes time, and effort to look good. And we have to work that much harder then a GG to be presentable. But it is so worth it :D.

since I started to do it every day I guess I get a lot more pratice lately. Takes me about 20 minutes it used to take me about 45 minutes.

depending on where I'm going. I can be dressed and out the door in about 30 minutes.

lots and lots of practice, but then again i'm female now. don't have to put on everything anymore.

:hugs:

Because it is so hard, and time consuming, is likely another reason so few GG's bother to dress up these days.

I don't even do things correctly at all and it still takes an hour sometimes.

Oh I know and share your impatience regarding time spent on makeup and just dressing prettily. I have a greater appreciation and admiration for GG's and what they do throughout their entire lives to look as good as they always do.

Like Gerri, I usually spend about 20-25 minutes on hair and makeup on a daily basis. Evening events can require another 10-15 minutes. I suspect that those figures are reasonably the same, maybe slightly above, the average GG doing her hair and makeup.

It usually takes me an hour to do the make up, and it can be a real drag at times (no pun intended), but the results are always worth it.

Depending on where and what I am doing it can take me one to two half hours.

Corset, breast forms, makeup, tucking and nails.

It is hard.

OMG, when I was in my 20's it could easily take me over an hour, up to 1 1/2 hours, and I'm not sure the results warranted the time taken. I think I realized I'd finally really become a genuine woman inside and out a few years ago when a GG friend called and asked if I could be at her place in half an hour. I was transformed in twenty minutes, then ten minutes to her place by car, and we had a great afternoon being silly, casual girls just running all over the place.

That being said, I'd generally like more time. **smile**
