I got my letter today

Hi folks, I went to my appointment today, on pins and needles. As I went in to see him, he wanted to sit and talk. Finally I asked about the hormone letter. He handed me a hand written copy, and told me if I was OK with that, he would have it typed and signed before I left. When I got it, I was surprised, he and his boss both signed it. And I'll turn it in at the VA, next Tuesday. When I go to see a shrink about my PTSD. Maybe I can get my hormones from the VA. I read that I should be able to get them there, but should and getting, sometimes are 2 different things...BJ

One of my friends gets her HRT through the VA, so I know it's possible. She said the first doctor said no but she tried another and got a yes - so keep pestering until you get what you want!

:love:I sure hope life is getting better. Just for kicks, I asked Peter what he does the rest of the week, he only sees people on Thursday, he said he's at the hospital, determing if they are to be admitted. And as he told me, he had worked with CD's, but never thought they were right for hormones. And I did promise to keep seeing him, so he can keep an eye on me. Well, today I got a appointment with my PCP. And I'm taking a copy of my letter to my appointment. To see where the chips fall. If this doesn't work, I have a appointment to my VA Dr. on the 15th of Oct. So that would be chance #2. I hope I don't need that chance, and today works for me. I'll know by noon. And later I go to see Peter. So if I go down in flames, I can cry on his shoulder ..BJ
