I have never been one to smile in pictures but I have noticed a trend lately. The last sets of pictures that I have had taken all showed me smiling. I find it interesting that Michelle smiles a lot more than male me.

I am providing a link to the last picture taken and included in the post of a friend. I am the gray haired old lady smiling from ear to ear in the black top. :D

I also rarely smile in male mode ... can't help myself when dressed ... I'm just so happy!! :D :D :D

I had a friend (the only other CD in town that I know) tell me that learning to smile was a key to passing. I've kept that in mind while out and shopping. Seems to autmatically get a smile and positive attitude back. But when I'm dressed it's most natural. I find that facinating!
Oh, BTW, Daenna is right. Probably the smile don't ya think?

I discovered something about me, and smiling for photos the other night during a girls' night out: give me about four drinks and I stop feeling self-conscious about it. Works much better. See avatar. :)

The smile looks good. It is funny that something so small, is such a stumbling block for so many CD's

I just find it odd that I am finally happy when I'm dressed and it shows. Very odd because I still don't smile much in male mode.

A smile shows you are comfortable and confident in who you are - regardless of the "packaging"!

I have the same problem, Michelle. I've never been able to put on a smile for a photograph. I smile spontaneously, like anyone, but doing it on cue is really hard for me.
A smile can do wonders - your looked great!

For me it's almost natural for me to smile, I like doing it because I am just simply happy to be. My male side is another story, smiling is almost painful for him, so he prefers to look like a grump all of the time.

Smiling a dressing is a winning combo for me...not only make me look a little better I feel really good smiling and I have to admit that I got inspired by the smiles from two ladies ..Karren Hutton and MJ (Miss Canada) two really contagious smiles:)

Hi Michelle -- All the ladies are absolutely right, your photos are terrific and your smile obviously *flows* from deep inside you and looks so good on you. I agree, too, with Karren Hutton; it does seem I find myself smiling more these days, even when in drab, it seems that somehow (and without being aware of it) Diane has learned how to do it, and it feels great (and life really is too short to do anything else!). Finally I'd like to say to Jocelyn that she is simply a knockout and that smile of hers is a heart-melter! Hugs to all -- Diane

Generally speaking, women smile more than men. Like Karren, once I learned how I wanted to smile, I started smiling much more in any mode--and it feels good to do it.
Michelle, A smile is free, and powerful. It adds many bonus points to anyones appearance. It may make some wonder what you are up to!

A smile to me is all about happiness and being comfortable. Whenever I force myself to smile, it shows in pictures. It is one of the first things I look at in a picture, it can give you a real sense of the person's state of mind at the time the picture was taken.
To all you girls that have great smiles, good for you!!

The trouble is I always look pissed! The best pictures are ones you haven't posed for - and yes, I am always smiling :)
