I thought of many subjects for this. But the setup first. I am out to my wife and my oldest daughter. We decided long ago to wait on my youngest daughter as she was having some difficulty in life, so it wasn't a good time. And as a note, she lives at home. Recently, we have been discussing it and as a point, I discuss this with my wife and the oldest daughter so that nothing changes without their knowledge. So we were on the fence and not quite committing to my youngest knowing.
Well, almost two weeks ago, she went out for a couple of her regular get togethers which last from 6:30 to 9:30. I let her use my car and told her to be home by 11. Dressing time! The way I have worked this is that there is an alarm on my garage door. Since she always comes in that way, I get fair notice if she comes home unexpectedly. So off she goes and I get dressed. And then there was a quick picture taking effort which resulted in the two pictures here in the same outfit:

I look awful calm and sane there, don't I? Hah!
So then it is chill out time. Well, my wife smokes in the garage but I rarely go out there dressed since the door could open with me there. Well, my daughter was at a regular thing and I needed to ask my wife a question, so I went out (I know, I can't keep you from not knowing what is coming). And yes, the garage door started opening. So I turned towards the house and started running. The only problem is that I was wearing 4 inch heels and on the first step, the heels of my feet popped out and the shoes went sideways with my toes still in them. So here I am, wishing I had a video camera on myself as I am trying to get across the garage, with the door opening, with the shoes on sideways. Well, I made it to the three steps leading into the house and on the way up, the shoes pop off. There are shelves blocking the door from being seen from outside, so I stop and grab the shoes and run to the bedroom.
Well, my daughter comes in, does something and leaves. I go out (out of breath) and ask my wife what happened. Well, she came in and grabbed some prescriptions she forgot. When she came out she asked my wife if I was wearing heels and then asked if I was a crossdresser. My wife (apparently forgetting our be honest when caught policy) told her that I was helping her explore her bi-curious side. Even I don't buy that! Well, we have a discussion about needing to tell her and that is it for that night. I get up in the morning and there is a note on the fridge that says "Got home by eleven. Love you, you kinky freaks".
Well, damage control time. So I went to work and the youngest was gone when I got home. But I got to talk with the oldest and with my wife, we start getting in sync. Well the tough part is that my daughter likes to take off to friends for days at a time. So it takes almost a week before I get to see her again. Not terribly unusual, but we are a paranoid bunch, aren't we? By the time I see her, she had talked with my oldest about if I was a dresser. So my oldest had set up a dinner at her place to get my daughter out of the woodwork where we could talk to her.
So we have dinner and of course she is getting ill from something she ate earlier which is making me doubt the timing, but we drive on. So little kids in bed, and I start that awkward lead in. When I get done, I get the big saucer eyes staring off in space. :hypnotized: So I ask her if she has any questions and I still get the blank look. She then says that there are thousands of questions running through her mind. So my oldest and I take over and ask and answer some of the common ones. At that point, she does ask a question and it is if I have a name. I haven't heard anyone else say that they were asked that, but both of my daughters have asked it. So then we were able to get some humor going and she really relaxed then. At that point, she wanted to see pictures.
It has been two days now and while she says she is fine. She hasn't openly wanted to talk about it more, and I'm not pushing. She did say she wants to go shopping and that she may want to go to a Tri-Ess meeting, so we shall see.
Not one of the most planned and smooth outings, but all seems good for now. Nothing to do but let her set the pace and see how it goes.
Oh, and the shoes survived without a scratch. :whew!:
