Well just as the title says, I've been making friends here. I've already talked to on of my friends over the phone and we're planning on meeting in person here soon. I also have an appointment with a stylst about getting a wig and I've finally started shaving my legs. Small steps, may insignigant to some, but major ones to me. I'm very happy right now and look forward to what might come.
Thanks everyone,
Shannon

not insignificant at all...its YOUR LIFE!!! live it!!!...i'm glad for you and hope you continue to progresss towards your own goals...its awesome
Shaving your legs, or painting your nails, or carrying a purse might all seem insignificant in light of the news of hormones and RLE, and SRS experiences, but there really are no insignificant steps in the process... and God knows - none of them seem insignificant at the time. It is a long road - you just keep putting one foot in front of the other.
Go you.

Before you can walk a mile, you have to take that first step. Some times that initial step is the hardest of them all along your journey.
And remember no matter how winding, steep, or narrow the road is, there is always a finish line and when you cross it you are a winner.
It does not matter if you are first or last, sprinted or crawled, stayed on the trail or got lost a few times, crossing the finish line is always a great satisfying achievement!
Good luck and may the wind always be on your back on your journey!

Thanks everyone. I think what I've learned the most and have taken away from being here, reading the posts and all is that we're all on a unique journey. Reading about everyone eles's stuggles, the questions, the inner back and forth has made me feel alot better. Up until now I thought all Trans people were a 100% certain from day 1 and it was all or nothing. I now realize it's not. Everyone has had doubts and questions and have to go at their own pace and it doesn't have to be all or nothing and everyone has their own individual finish line.
All of you have been an amazing and huge help and I can't thank you enough.
