I want to start a new list of interesting things that a girl like me can do when on vacation en femme. I'm an average build person who passes maybe 75% of the time but is still hesitant in public despite a fair bit of practice..things to do include:

clubbing
Shopping
Sit in coffee and watch people
Meet guys I met from Internet
Museum
Beach
Parks

Ball games
Concerts
Dining
Aquaria
Riding the Subways (I love rail travel!)
Cruise

Just the few that immediately came to mind

I'm worried about ball games as I might meet hooligans who could pick on me. I hate sports anyway.
I'm uneasy with the subway as if I get hassled, I have no escape. Also the crowded nature means I get scrutinized and what if someone snatches off my wig?

Casinos are great since they will take your money no mater how your dressed!! And the other patrons are old and blind and too obsessed with gambling to even pay attention to you to what you should or shouldn't be wearing... Just DO NOT take photos of yourself in the casino... The security was all over me the last time I did that... "Maaam... Please drop the camera...". Lol.

Parks are good... Just stay away from young children and play grounds "News Flash... Pervert caught lurking around play ground... Photos at 11"

How about casinos where they're available. We seem to be welcome especially if we're dropping money at the tables or machines! Whoops Karren beat me to the punch!:bonk:

I think it depends on where you are, or more specifically, what type of social climate you find yourself in. Whenever I go to somewhere like Dallas or Santa Fe I consider it to be well within the realm of possibility to slip into mainstream venues and activities. But I just got back from some travel in Montana and Wyoming and never felt comfortable enough to push the envelope. I traveled fem, bought gas, did hotel stays, etc, but never went to a restaurant or shopping. I did go to my first non-gay bar en femme, but it was early afternoon and practically deserted. Maybe I should have tested the waters more.

Going to the Opera. Opera lovers are educated and sensible people, and formal dressing and make-up for an opera evening helps passing. And it gives the opportunity for an after-opera discussion with interesting people.
