What are you and your SO planning for Halloween? Will any of you be dressing with your wife/gf and celebrating with friends?

Me and my SO Az will be sitting here ignoring all the knocks at the door :heehee: .. Halloween over in the UK seems to be more for the kids to go out trick or treating than adults going out partying

We're going to Salem, Massachusetts for Haunted Happenings (http://hauntedhappenings.org) and I can't wait.. I'm soooo excited about going out en femme. We're going to spend time with friends, those whom I told about my CDing and will also be introducing my en femme self to several friends whom do not know yet. I know hundreds of people in Salem as I lived there for many years, so, it should be a very interesting week for me.

We went out tonight to a pre-Halloween masquerade ball hosted by a local pagan group. Wife dressed as kind of a gothic lolita, and I vamped it up in bodystocking, short skirt, corset, & boots. Although she accompanied me on my two previous outings, we were among friends those times. She was nervous about going out around strangers with me dressed up. I told her two things about it 1) they're pagans, they won't care; and 2) I won't be the only guy in drag. I was right on both counts. The people there were so blasé about it that I actually felt like I didn't get enough attention, and there were three other guys there in drag. (I was the hottest though.) :p

My 4yr old daughter is dressing up as Belle from Beauty and the Beast, and well, you know how alot of girls clothing and toys, etc have the three Disney princesses, Belle, Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella, well, I said to my wife that the three of us should go out as the Disney princesses so I could wear the pretty pink dress and be Sleeping Beauty, but my wife said nooooo.. cause she only wears pants.. pftt.. I might just get me that pretty pink dress anyway cause it's just sooo cute and I think I'd look so pretty in it. :)

I hope that someone has a party, but in saying that I have to say also that I've never been to a Halloween party. If I wear a costume to a party, it will probably not be femme but some kind of character. I think that more likely, I'll stay at home and dress up to hand out candy to the kids--I think that that would be really fun!

This is what my wife and I did for the masquerade ball last night. We'll probably do the same thing, or something similar, on Halloween...

My wife and I will spend Halloween on the Dignity cruise this year. We are both going to dress in drag at the costume party. I will be the bride and she will be the groom. I plan on staying in drag the whole 5 days,,, I can wait,,,

Gone out for the last three years with my wife. Just dressed as Michelle and actually won a contest dressed in a poodle skirt, bobby socks and saddle shoes. Bought a sequin drag outfit for this year. The hair has grown quite a bit so I am going to try for the beehive hair looks. Love halloween in small towns.

My wife and I are going as saloon girls. It was her idea and she has a pattern from Simplicity to make my outfit. Look up Simplicity pattern number 2851.

She's making the one in the upper left for me.

My wife and I typically do matching costumes that we do ourselves. One year it was Boris and Natasha, another it was Speed Racer and Trixie (always with the "correct" gender roles). This year we're doing this:

And of course I'm going as the nurse and she'll be the sailor.

So many great ideas. I expect we will do something with simialr or paired costumes. I'm just not sure what. My "zeal" for Halloween, has become a pretty open secret among some friends, so I'm hoping folks will cook up some party ideas over the next week or two. If not, I'll begin to panic.

We're going out on the town in the French Quarter the weekend before Halloween. Haven't gotten the outfits figured out yet, but we'll both be in femme mode - very excited about that one, will be the first weekend I've spent two whole days in femme mode 24/7 ever! Shopping in femme mode by day, whooping it up dressed like a floozy at night - should be terrific!

But it's a good chance to get dressed and open the door. :heehee:

my wife is going as a vampiress. She was originally going as a devil since I am going as an angel. We were going to be irony girls since she thinks that I am so wicked. Now I'm not sure of the label for us.

My wife and I went out with her as the Doctor in scrubs and I was her nurse a few years ago. We also went out shopping earlier in the day, her dressed normally and I wore black slacks and one of her nice Halloween theme tops. This year she will be in the middle of a chemo treatment, so no big couple plans right now and she wants to save her energy, justifiably, for the grandkids. We have to play it by ear as each treatment is different.
