Panty Size

I want to buy some panties and still confused on size. If I am a 40 waist in mens what size panties do I need in womens please help. I usually buy the xl never came across size numbers until I saw some at local store please help. Just need to know what size.

I think a size 9 will fit a 40" waist...as a sz 8 = 38", sz 7 = 36", sz 6 = 34".and so on. Different brands will vary some, but the standard is the above...I think.

Don't pull the thread, or they might unravel. At LB it's by pant or skirt size. I'm a 14-16.

i have a 33" wiast and wear a size 5 or 6 depending on how firm i like them to be ! :)

I find that low-rise thongs and boyshorts fit me best, so I used the size chart at VS online to see that my 37" hips needed a small, which I didn't believe. I order medium and they are great!
