Hi Ladies,

Going to be traveling around the Peru area Sept 26th ish. Does anybody know of some friendly stores in the area ? Also, anywhere that is CD friendly to go out at night ?

No, I am from Canada and just passing through and was hoping to meet up with somebody for some shopping and perhaps dinner somewhere safe.

A blast from the past. Lived there for 11 years - Utica near the LaSalle/Peru area. My advice: Don't. Very conservative, small town, closed communities. Low toleration, opinionated, closed group. I suggest that even if there is the slightest hint of "being different", a) their radar is turned on and b) they react. This is not an enlightened community! Regards, Mary F.
