Just curious.. If the opportunity presented itself . Would you take a job that required you to crossdress.. Lets say at a club or whatever..
Me I am not sure.. While it seems like a dream job.. I would think if I had to crossdress all the time. I would become much less exciting and somewhat tedious possibly..

hello there,
if the opportunity arose i would have to think long and hard about it.
it does sound appealing but i think you make an honest point.
perhaps if in the job they provided the clothes, help in dressing and such then i would be interested, makeup help and wig.
i would love to give such an opportunity a go just to see how it feels but i couldnt make a full commitment to do it everyday for the rest of my life.
thats a good question and i can see both sides of the story.
kisses,

Candy,
Lets not say at a club or whatever!
Lets say, air hostess, hotel receptionist, one of those female lawyers on television who wear beautiful skirt suits.
If I were offered any of the above positions (on the condition I had to crossdress at work) I think after a bit of coaxing I might possibly be persuaded to say YES!

I must admit the idea of it sounds rather fantastic and appealing, I think in the long run it would lose appeal for me and possibly take away the 'gloss' off the whole dressing experience. But as for having that job one or two days a week, then yes, it would get serious consideration and discussion with my wife

Just the thought of being able to go to work dressed everyday puts a smile on my face!
However, you make very good points regarding the novelty value Miisy Aust, but I think for me I would love it for a mon-fri job, and then pehaps not bother dressing at the weekend (turn the tables so to speak!).
I agree with the Angela in that the jobs shouldn't be confined to pubs/clubs - why not secretary, maid, air hostess etc. A uniform would be much nicer, leaving my nice clothes for going out in.
Should the opportunity arise, I would definitely go for it if my gg partner would accept it.

I always work dressed... sometime jeans and t-shirts with no makeup and my hair in a ponytail... other days business suit or dress with makeup and styled hair. I always wanted to be me so I started my own company. My customers know about me and don't mind. I just live as I want to live and wear what I want to wear when and if I want.
My clothes are just clothes (I don't have any 'boy' clothes anymore)... the photographs are more 'glam' than my day look, but hey that's natural. :)

If I could earn at least what I do now, then I would probably go for it. End of the day you only live once! And I could always go back. It would be novel to come home and dress as a guy!!! Now I have another dream besides Lotto!!!

Yes, I think I would, but only if the job was such that people knew you were CDing. Not a position in which you were trying to fool people or "pass" as some say. I agree with you though that it might become tedious. Work usually is.
One club which I have been to http://www.clubrenaissance.com/ does have CDs as waitresses sometimes. They're very good.

Yes, I think I would go for a job like that. I think many of us don't look at it as dressing, but a way of life. Transition during that time would also be a consideration.......

Hey Candy.
Funny you should ask this.
I am job hunting and a month ago i came across a position as a real estate agent selling residential property. Not that i have experience in realty, but i thought it was worth a try. When i get to the details of the job, they are only seeking women as the organisation is staffed by women only. They state that women are more 'trustworthy' and 'communicate' better, which is one of their sales pitches. So i think to myself, 'what if i tell 'em i'm a XDR?' Nope, i guess that would have turned them off more than a normal 'man'! Even now i wonder whether i should have at least given it a try? They had a company uniform too - i wonder what the skirts and dresses were like?
To answer your question though, it's a definate yes! In my mind, although i don't dress a lot at the moment, i'm feeling more TG as times goes by.

Yes I'd take the job in a heart beat, it would be a dream come true for me. I do agree with Debbie, I'd want the customers to know that I was a CD Waitress. I've to lucky cheng's and loved it, the girls there are wonderful.

First, YES I need a job ( any job, well almost )
Second, YES that way I could dream about working dressed, at night, and do it for real every day :)
I could never pass though :(
A job
Look I may moan, groan and whinge a little but actually I've got it made here ;) A quick run round with the hoover now and again, bit of dusting and polishing, stick some tea in front of them when they get home from work and thats it :)
I'll stick with the stay at home option thankyou............

I've spoken to a few girls who work in a Tranny showbar in the evenings for something like $150 per shift and believe me they earn every red cent of it, practically run off their feet all night , dealing with awkward customers, being part of the in house cabaret on stage doing dance routines and of course trying to to maintain that just made up freshness all evening and to top it all they have to buy all their own clothes for work, i sincerely think the view from my side of the bar is so much more relaxed and enjoyable, so working in a club atmosphere in femme mode is not for Steph,

I don't think it would matter... my dream job would be in a clothes shop - AH, the discount!! lol... and being surrounded by girly clothes all day. Fantastic.
A crossdressing store clerk... hmmm... ;)

If it were a good place to work, then I would jump at the chance.
There is nothing worse than doing a job you dislike, no matter what the dress code is.

I would jump at the chance. I agree with Tristen a long lunch break would be necessary to redo all the important stuff.

I thought about this question a little more now than when I first posted it. I think perhaps I would if the pay were right. I know if I made considerably more than I do now I would probably do it.
