Last week i spoke to a group of Physician asst's regarding TS issues. THere was also a lesbian mom and the 2 teachers (G and L as well)...

it was alot of fun and very rewarding...the upcoming generation is very open minded about us...the trick is going to be to get them to actually care enough to do something about it...to speak up when they here a doctor call us a name, to speak up when somebody says something terrible right in front of us...to advocate for us when some admin jerk makes our health care more difficult...

all in all the event gave me alot of hope

It's really good that you interacted with the group. The medical community has to be sensitized.

Kaitlyn, I am sorry but I did not see a single facial "goofy" expression. You looked very classy, and appear to have presented us very professionally. So I want to thank you for speaking on our behalf and for having the courage to do so. You are a great example for all of us and I am proud of you, and happy to have gotten to know you even if just a little by reading your posts which have given me some insights into your thoughts and journey you have traveled. :daydreaming:
