I read a post a few weeks back (maybe more) about the future of srs. That got me to thinking: maybe we're being too limited in our thinking. Surgery is fine for now, but I think the future lies in DNA resquencing. That in the future (maybe near, maybe far) scientist will be able to alter specific chromozones or DNA strands so that instead of needing surgery, our bodies naturally morph from our physical gender to our mental gender. So not only would we look like our gender physicall, but actually be our gender, with all our fully functioning parts.

What do you think?

Now I'm not a scientist or a doctor but this would be sci-fi now. Then again so was flying, subs, and many of the medical proceedures we take advantage of these days. Nice thought though.
