Today was my last laser appointment for my chest and back. The woman who was suppose to do my treatment was busy. So I got a new tech and she was very interesting. We ended up talking a great deal about different subjects and then it happened. I told her that I was a cd'er. Told her about the meetup group here in Denver. Told her so much and she absolutely floored me. She said that she would love to hang out with us. I thought she was just being nice but I asked anyway for her name and phone #. 10 seconds later I had both. Now I guess I have a date of sorts for Thursday night when another cd'er and I go out clubbing next week. The whole thing happened because I showed her a picture of me as a cd'er. Now I have someone who will force me to go out dancing instead of sightseeing.

In fact 5 people saw my pictures today. I got told that I looked very feminine in the pictures. I was on cloud nine. You know the one. The pink one on the right. I had never met someone because of cd'ing who wanted to hang out with me while dressed. I have pinched myself several times and yes it was real.

I don't think that this will be anything more than friends but it is way cool to say the least.

Way to go Michelle, this never would be happening if you kept your mouth shut about your lifestyle. I find that gg's are almost universally accepting and most I meet are open to us. I have one gg friend I have been shopping with (in drab) and we have done each other's makeup etc. It is strictly platonic but eventually I hope to work up to going shopping with her en femme. Go out dancing and kick up those heels, honey.

Congrats!

How do you like the results of the laser hair removal? I have been thinking about getting that done.

I think it already has. Let's see pretty 36 year old woman that wants to hang out with a bunch of cd'ers. This can't be good :D

Congrats!

The back is 99% gone. the stomach is 99% gone, but the upper chest is only 95%. I would do it again if I needed it. At this point I will just shave the rest.

Awesome, Michelle!
I'm already budgeting my 2011 budget for laser and electro on my face & body,.....and it's s going to happen .
I decide I was going to tell the hair removal specialist right up front my situation, even if it's only my mind that needs to be at rest.

You are so lucky. Sometimes we unconsciously put ourselves in situations so we are forced to do what we really want to do.
