Hi Girls,
Need a little help. I just penciled in an appointment at a day spa / salon for a private makeup lesson. I'm very excited to find such a cool establishment with such wonderful girls. I'm definitely doing this, however, I was also thinking of going to a CD specialty boutique to get a makeover. Which one should I do or should I do both? Money is not a concern. More of a scheduling problem. I'm thinking of spending the Friday out enfemme after the lesson. Lesson is at 8:30 AM before they open the salon to the GG's. Will the CD specialist be much better for me?

The cd specialists will problaly be able to advise you better on covering up shadow and how to use blush etc to enhance your features to give a more fem appearance. but if money is no importance do both anyway and just enjoy yourself.

Last November, after two years of procrastination, and having never come out to anybody, I got up the nerve and made an appointment for a "transformation" at a place not too far from my home.
The timing was such that my wife and daughter would be out of town and I would therefore have a rare private window of opportunity.
Without going into my own personal details, it was probably the best and bravest thing I have ever done. I was greeted with a hug from the GG who would do me up and was made to feel totally....normal!
After picking out panties, stockings, a bra, breast forms, blouse and skirt, we spent about 15 minutes trying on different wigs that would suit me. After selecting one, I sat on the big chair and she applied false nails and then make-up. She asked if I wanted to watch and I said, "No, I want to be surprised!" She used tape to bring up my brows and lessen my flabby chin.
For the first time in my life, I really felt like a woman at a cosmetics counter getting a free makeup and consultation.
Finally she told me I was ready to look and spun me around to look in the mirror. I could barely believe the image staring back at me! OK, maybe I wasn't Sharon Stone, but I think that if I just sat there without moving my body, I could have passed for a reasonably ok-looking female.
I then tried on different pairs of shoes and settled on some 1 1/2 inch heels that actually fit my feet perfectly. Had a little trouble walking since this was the first time. But I wished that I never had to take them off.
We took some poses with a digital camera that she burned onto a disc and gave to me.
The 2 1/2 hr session went by in what seemed like 10 minutes. Not once did she ask my male name and only referred to me as "Jacqui."
I paid her cash, left, and when I got home, I had a thank-you e-mail from her with a list of all make-up used and directions for application.

So, Sophia, I can't answer the first part of you question about going to a spa/saloon....but if you could find a good "transformation service," you will probably be as happy as I was.
Good luck at the saloon. Let us know how it goes!
