Hi girls,

I went out again today (took a vacation day) en-femme and like last time, no problems. This time I wore some pink capri pants, a striped-pink top and some sandalls. Once again salewomen were all nice. Also a couple of things happened to me that I would never have predicted.

First, when I was at Marshalls standing in line, another cashier line opened up and the young girl working the cashier said to me: "There's another line open, ma'am, if you want me to ring you up." Whooda thunk it! Someone called me ma'am! :)

Second, when I was walking in the mall, this older lady stopped me. There was a lump in my throat and I got nervous However, she just just remarked that my top was pretty and asked me where I bought it at. I told her (in as low and feminine a voice that I could muster) that I bought it last year at Torrid.

I guess at the very least people are seeing that am am comfortable as Steffie (even if I don't pass) and treat me like a lady. A few weeks ago I would have thought that I was the last person this could happen to. Anyway that's the shortened version of my adventures today. I got some great bargains, today, by the way. :) Take care.

Steffie

This is terrific Steffie! This is exactly how I feel about passing. I have no idea what people "really think" about me, but they treat me as the gender I present.

This means to me that the image I present is close enough to a GG woman that it's not worth making a scene about me. I know your post (in your own words) was a shortened version but I totally identify with the sentiment.

You must be passable from your story. Can you show us a good pic of yourself?

Last year I was in a local thrift store and one of the girls working there told me that she loved the skirt I was wearing. I was not passing then as well as I do now. I just smiled. Looking back I probably should have struck up a conversation with her. She almost certainly knew I was a cd and I'll bet she would have turned into a great friend if not a girl friend.
