Hay I just need some ideas, it's my friends birthday in 2 weeks, and she's having a costume party, the girls have asked if I can go dressed as a woman. What they don't know is that I like to crossdress already, any ideas on how far I should go, and where to shop for these items. I'm on a tight budget thanks for any answers

my one piece of advice is DO NOT PASS IT UP. No matter what happens, fears you have, worries, anything, you go get a dress, wig, paint your nails, shave those legs, and you be a hot, sexy woman. Don't be shy to flirt with guys and girls and be the life of the party!

A good way to bypass all the pondering on whether you should go all out or not is to suggest that they make you up for you. That way it will allay any suspicion and plus they will most likely deck you out.
Oh you're sooooooooooo lucky!
Go all out, if you're on a buget then go with whatever you can get your hands on and will make you look your best!

No limit! Just go all out. You can get a cheap wig at any wig store (If you need one) Just ask them if they have any in the back. You can pretty much name your price. Payless for shoes and I'm sure you can get the rest. ;-)

Thanks for your replies. I already own a wig, heels, dresses, bras, panties. Stockings, sleepwear. And some accessories but this is a good time for me to shop :)
What should I wear tho, any help, they want me to go as a James bond girl,

Tell the gal that asked you to come dressed - that you will, but need help. When you show up with your stuff explain that you went to goodwill or e-bay to get the stuff you "thought" you needed. Just tell her you think that if you do dressed it would be rude to not look good since it would make a mockery of girls. Believe me when I say a girl will not let you go looking ugly - because it would be a reflection on her make-up and hair skills to the other Gg's. Of course she will have to give you "lessons" in walking in heels. :)
You then are off the hook and won't get the " Oh, you look like you've done this before" from others, and yet look great and have the time of your life.

It wasn't the clothes that made the Bond girls.
It was the bodies! (Oh how I wish... :daydreaming:)
I bet a gazzillion bucks you don't have one. Better just go and have fun as a girl.

Hi Jess,
There's a lot of great suggestions that have been mentioned so far. I would as has everyone else suggested take it to the limit, and have fun all night long. Leave the guy stuff at home. I'm sure your best mate will understand, especially since it's his GF's idea. So, JUST DO IT!

If you think these girls will fall for it, I would set up a "dry run" with the girls working on you. Bring some items that just don't work right and keep asking the girls what they think. The idea is to have them say they could do better and have them go with you to a thrift store to buy something better. They will likely try to do a great job and if you end up looking really good, you can honestly say that they did it for you. Then have them help you with getting ready for the real event and go and have the time of your life.

Don't try to be clever or subtle in the deception. Your story is very simple: They made the suggestion, and you decided you would rather do it right than look ridiculous. If they say that you look like you're enjoying it too much, say that you are. If they tease you, tease them right back. The more shy and spooked you look, the more they will think it means to you. Be confident, and play it to the hilt.

Maybe you can ask one of the girls to help you find a party dress! Like others have said, ask them for help with your makeup as well. Sounds like a wonderful time :)

If I did it, I would tell them to make me look as good as possible instead of a drag or joke look. Just tell them, you always wondered what you would look like as your twin sister. Just have fun with it. Borrow as much from the girls as you can. I'm not sure how bond girl will go, but maybe try to look like Tula.

First thing for a tight budget would be to shop at a thrift store such as Goodwill. Many of them have unisex dressing rooms where you can try on clothes to see what works best for you. Secondly, if you know someone to help with makeup and accessories, don't be shy ask for all the help you can get. If it was me going for the first time I would try to blend in with all the other girls. Just do your best to look pretty and make the other girls jealous. Good luck and enjoy the party.

Sounds like a great chance to get dressed en femme and spend time with others. If it was me, I would just dress as a normal everyday woman, nothing outlandish, as I'm sure that would make a bigger impact on the girls.

If I got that offer I would go girlie all night and as others have suggested make the most of it and get the girls to do your make up. I di have one of my work matessuggest I should dress as a girl on our next charity day at work so I am hoping she follows it through and reminds me closer to the time.
Also remember everyone at the event will be totally accepting of you dressed up because you were asked by the girls if you would do it.

Do you know how many many people there are that would love to be in your situation? Lots! I say if the girls have asked if you can go dressed as a woman then why not get them to help you? Arrive at the party early and get them to help you with your makeup. I'd go to Goodwill for clothes and Ebay for a wig. That's my advice. Have fun! :)
go all out, get a make over and be the girl of the party all night long.

Do not pass up this opportunity. I agree with Sophie86. You will also be getting a rare experience most CD will never know, what it is like to be "one of the girls". Guys are usually loners and want to do it themselves with no ones help. Girls usually help each other out and bond this way. A plea for a dry run so you don't look ridiculous for the actual event is a possibility. Having them help you pick your cloths and do your make up will get you off the hook for looking too good. It is a win win. Also, If you are single, you may want to see which girls seem accepting or interested in it. Who knows, this experience might help you land the girl and girlfriend of your dreams.:daydreaming:

Funny how that brings back memories of long ago. My girlfriend in my teens asked if I wanted to go to a party as a girl. I said yes. Yes she did take it all the way. At each part as she feminized me she said can I do this to you. I said yes every time. After the party the next day she told me I seemed to enjoy being turned into a girl. I told her it was fun. She laughed at me and told me I was not a real boy. I turned red and was totally embaressed. I never replied that she was correct. After that she told me if I didn't do what she wanted she would tell everyone. From that day on. Until we broke up she insisted I had to wear nail polish on my hands ( light pink ) every day. She had me dress up several more times when we were alone. No one ever noticed the polish because it was such a light color. When the day came that we broke up she didn't tell anyone. Her new boyfriend was on the football team.

I love your enthusiasm with your reply,Simpsonfan5!! It clean leapt off the screen, you are indeed correct, seize the opportunity with both those painted nailed hands, you get dolled up and show the REAL women a thing or two....I'm saying all this, but the truth is I'd be far too much of coward to do anything like it!!

Don't do it. You will be ridiculed for an eternity, people will make fun of you and you will have to endure this for weeks and years to come. To save you from this, just send me the address and I will go in your place to help you avoid all of the troubles to come :o)
Now get out there and shop !! And I agree with others that say make the girls take you out to buy a dress and ask them to do your makeup.
Of course all of us want to see the pictures.

sounds like a great deal. Gof all the way. Lots of good clothing available at second hand stores. But here's a thought - talk one of your girl friends into helping you shop. You can play dumb, or not. but either way you'lll get good advice and have a great time bargain shopping.

Not to relive an event that happened to me several months back. I had the opportunity to go out with an old friend and she wanted me to go out fully en femme with her. She stopped by to pick me up (and fix my make up).... It was great, in fact better than great, to be out "as one of the girls".
Make sure you take full advantage of the chance

I think the best way is to let either all of them do you up or for you to pick the one or two you think will take it the farthest. You can always encourage them a bit with some suggestions. I think taylor Swift for milk is a great costume. Google it and there are some neat youtube vids with her axplaining the wardrobe. Is you hair long enough or would a wig be necessary? Check consigment/second hand shops forthem. Go for it!!!

Play it like a fox, sneak around and play with it. I think, play it cool and ask for help to dress and apply makeup. Any tips and any advice is worth a million dollars coz they are experienced. Act like a sponge and soak up every lil bit of help. Then the night of the party...YOU GO GIRL and show em that you have cred.

I agree, Goodwill is an amazing place to go for budget clothing/costumes of almost any type. In fact, most of the clothes i wore for my first year of crossdressing were bought at goodwill.
Now you go out there and show them that you've got it!

There are also stores that sell new clothes at a great discount. I think TJ Maxx is that way. They get returns from mail order companies like Chadwicks, etc. I have a local store that is like this and I have found some nice clothes there. I have been frustrated several times at thrift stores. The girls always say it, and I have found it to be true... "The never have anything my size."

Ok the party was last night, OMG it was amazing I loved it, I wore a pink dress, with pink heels, black stockings and tights to hide my hairy legs haha, and I wore control panties and control dress, underneath, and I wore my black haired wig, cause I have black hair, so it would match, my friends laughed but I was a OMG that's funny laugh, nothing cruel. One of the girls slapped my butt and said hay sexy haha, :) she was kinda drunk haha. I ended up doing my make up I did the best I could, lol anyway great night had a blast, no photos unfortunately, my clothes only coast $22 and the wig was $25

I'd have to agree with the rest of the ladies....do it up, do it well, and have a night to remember. I went to a Halloween party with my wife once, and we did the ol' gender swap. I made a much more convincing woman than she did a man, and I wound up actually playing ping pong in high heels that evening. I had a blast. You should too. Go for it.

We did that once too, one of the very few times I've ever been out. After the party we went out for a late dinner dinner and while I got a few laughs from some ne'er-do-well guys I got some admiring looks from the girl seated at the table next to us. A great night.

The first time I fully dressed was for a Halloween party when I was 14 or 15. I'd secretly wore panties and hose and things before but for the party my mom helped dress me totally as a woman and I won 1st place for the best costume. I was in heaven the entire night, winning 1st place was just icing on the cake.
