curious about a doctor...

So I decided to finally get off my butt and start looking for therapists and doctors for transitioning and I came across a few that I figured I'd ask to see if anybody has had/is having anything to do with these folks. So, here we go:

For therapists:

Antone F. Feo
Diana Mueller
Patti Verde


For surgeons:

Dr. Christine McGinn at the Papillon Center in PA.

You might just contact Christine (the Papillon Center) in Philly to start. She offers EVERYTHING right there. She runs a FULL service transition shop. I have spoken with her. I have a friend who is getting SRS with her in a month or two. Just call her. See how it goes.

I met with Diana Mueller several time before I lost my insurance.

I had my SRS several years ago (1990) by Dr. Brassard in Montreal. As skills and technology have advanced since then, I had Dr. McGinn do some work to make me look…. more real. First, know she runs a very good clinic. It is clean and sterile. Her staff is excellent. They are quite knowledgeable and well trained. Christine is a fabulous person to know and a joy to call my friend. As her training and background dictates, she is direct and to the point. I did not in any way get the feeling I was being sold a bill of goods from her. She told me what was possible and did more than I ever expected. I am quite satisfied with her. I personally know 4 other girls that have SRS done by her and they are all quite happy with the results.

I personally know two women who had their surgery with Dr. McGinn and they are both very happy with the results. I'm planning to have her take care of me as well.

Never went to a therapist so I cant help you there. Doctor? Well as long as you go to a well known doc I am confident you will be happy. Any girl that is psyco about one particular doc is either Pre-op and a mystic that can see into the future or post-op and I dont know of a girl that goes to more than one doc for multiple sex change ops.

Sure some get revisions.

Personally I suggest you be hypercritical about FFS doc because most of us benefit the most from that and its what the world sees everyday.

Just wanna say thanks to everybody, as this has given me a LOT more courage than any doctor website or anything. I mean, success pictures only go so far, ya know? Makes me wonder about how bad the failures are... but that's me
