Lovely to hear

I was doing a little shopping today (in drab) and I remembered I needed more foundation. I went to that area of the market and was looking through the shelf for my usual Rimmel Warm Honey. Just as I was about to give up a young SA asked if she could help me. I told her what I was looking for and she told me it had been discontiued.:sad: How often does that not happen? She said she would check to see if there was any more stock and opened a draw in the display unit. She rummaged around and said this was all that was left. It was a sampler and she told me I was welcome to it. Wow! free makeup!
Then she asked me what I used it for. Was it for the ugly spots on my arms? "No" I said "it was for my face." Well she looked really puzzled at that so I took out a photo of me standing in my avatar dress.
Wow! was her reply "you look lovely" Naturally I felt my face redden at that. We talked for a little about dressing and she came across as being very supportive. It is really amazing how accepting you people are today.
I am still on a high.

That is very nice. I'm going to have to carry a photo of me around just in case I have the chance to share it with a Sales Associate. It's wonderful to hear how often one of us runs into someone who is open and accepting, as opposed to someone (we aren't married to) being outwardly critical. Cultivate that person and make sure their manager is aware of how welcome it made you feel and how much more money you will spend in their shop, or something like that.
