Some days I get dressed up and do office work in my home office... wouldn't a glass desk be so nice, keep an easy eye on your legs and shoes!

Maybe soft under-lighting and side mirrors for added visibility

Such vanity... sickening isn't it? =)

You wouldn't get any work done! Maybe that's the point ;)

I know I appreciate a lovely lady perched behind a glass desk .... could be because I'm a "leg man"? (so to speak) ;)

after a friend of mine had fallen through his glass coffee table i say stay away from glass top tables. can you say slice and dice...and lots of new blood.he cleaned out the blood bank of his type. and he lived only 1/2 mile from the hospital. that was the lucky part for him.

but yes the view would keep you from getting any work done.

Just get the glass cleaner and paper towels in bulk and keep it close by!

Since Margarets legs are the best part of her, and she loves her shoes, this would be a great idea.

I love the idea! I have a mirror near my desk, just so I can glance over at the girl (me) who is working at my desk!

Yes, this is the ultimate level of vanity.

Or perhaps, elbow length gloves would prevent all the smears. Then again, elbow length gloves prolly don't match well with the business suit look.

I bought two glass console tables from a hotel furniture liquidation store about 10 years ago. (The waist-high glass tables w/metal legs found in the lobbies of many hotels).

I still use one as a kitchen table (with bar stools). I cut the 4 legs down on the other one, spray painted it black and used it as a coffee table for a couple years. They were both 28" x 48" and worked great! FYI, if you make any type of table out of glass...make sure it is 1/4" plate glass with the edges grinded down smooth. It will be heavy. The 28" x 48" glass in mine weighs about 45lbs. Anything thinner than 1/4 plate is too thin and do not even think about putting two pieces of 1/8" glass together to make 1/4"...does not work that way in glass!!!!

Yes, it is great for "leg work",,plus dogs love it because they can look up and see you!

I dunno...that sounds WAY too distracting. I would never get any work done!

If everyone in the company had them I'd be visiting the women co-workers a lot more than I do right now!! Maybe even spring for the "full body scanner" option!! :)
