i'm really anxious to go to a ball. i have some beautiful long ball gowns/evening gowns but have never been worn out. i'm still waiting for that one special moment. i live in brisbane, and next augast theres a big formal ball in sydney so have to tavel interstate to go too it. i'm trying to get a ball happening in brisbane, but theres lack of interest up here. my gowns are crying to be worn out, and i'd love to be a beautiful lady in a floor length shimmering gown taking the floor. my beautiful gowns are just hanging there....its time this lady showed her real elegance.

I have worn two gowns out . one for halloween , one for a Christmas party with other CDers for a dinner out. That was cool but the shoes I had died years ago and never wore outside fell apart before the night was half over lol.

The first two were the Christmas party , The other two were Halloween. I was going to go goth but I just lost my job and needed to save money so I did not get the while makeup.

The green gown is a brides made gown with a shear top over top to make it less formal. I love that gown. I used to have 40 or so gowns but gave half to the good will so someone else could enjoy them. Now just think of that , a women finds my old gown and loves it and thinks " I wonder what lady gave this beautiful gown away and where did she were it to..."! I bet she would never guess a man owned it. And if another CD finds it would he ever think it was another CD owned it. Fun to think of eh?

who wouldn't want to go to the Ball--Me, I have a red satin, victorian type gown, with a black lace/satin petticoat and a black satin bustle in back---with shoulder length leather formal gloves, a glamourous updo and heavy make up--would love to be the Queen of the Ball-if you would like to see a photo of it send Me a pm---I've already posted a picture of it on this site but for some reason, we aren't allowed to post the same picture twice.

LOL.....we all knew that you would! But seriously, who among us wouldn't love the experience of wearing that fancy gown and attending a fancy dress ball? It's every girl's dream.....or one of them, anyway.

I only got to wear this out 2 times. Once to a Christmas party at a friends house and once to a formal dinner at a CD function. I would love to be able to wear it again as it has been WAY too long.:(

Me, me, me, me heck sure thing. First I would not consider an evening dress until I lose another 2 stone. I want my gown to flow with my graceful moves and swirl as I turn. I want to radiate my happiness and simply glow. If I went out now, I would look no different to the potato sack in my pantry, YUK.

Formal wear/ball gowns are simply the essence of feminity, sign me up!!! They are so far removed from anything masculine, don't forget the stiff petticoat ;)

Well here's a kicker.
I went looking for a ball gown on Sunday.

Sadly it was for my wife, but I did get to look at some beautiful clothes though and let my imagination run wild. LOL
