A birthday party coming up!

My neighbour is turning 30 next month. She is asking her friends to come to a party for her at a pub in the city.

She has specifically invited me, and advised me that there will be a "theme" for this party. She has some special kind of punishment in mind for those who do not dress for the theme.

"What", you may ask, "is the theme for this party?" It is "Hookers, Johns, and Cops". I was told that I would not be the "only guy dressed as a woman". At least one other fellow would be "showing off 'her' legs".

So, as I don't know a lot of her friends, and as my lovely bride will be having foot surgery that morning, I ask you all: "Should I go"?

PSS: what time for the surgery? and the party? could you work both into the same day? you know surgery in the am, and party in the evening.
this way you get to spend time at the hospital and get home for a quick dinner and change.
