Hi Felix,
Good for you! I'm not sure what second stage lower surgery is but I can take a guess. You guys have a much harder time with your equipment changes that we M to Fs do. One nice thing is when your voice lowers I bet you can easily pass. No more dresses or skirts for you. Send them to me. Good luck with your surgery! Leanne

Hi peeps and thanx once again for all you well wishes and support :)
I've had my second stage of lower surgery it went well but I have to say this stage is very painful and I think it gives me some insight to what you trans ladies go through :/
I'm not a fussy sort but this time I've had to resort to morphine coz it has been really painful :( but today I think I will come off the pump as I only needed it once in the night :) I got out of bed last night but only for a few minutes but will prob get up today :)
He's hooked my ureater up so in 4 weeks ill be able to pee standing yay :) he also tucked my tummy I've so needed that doing and I was cheeky to get it done lol ;) well that's all for now ill be back with more news soon :) xx Felix

I'm glad that your surgery went well and cheers from Texas!

Thanx for all your kind thoughts and wishes :) Lol I won't be able to use my equiptment till 8 weeks after stage 4 and we may be looking at next september as yet for completion :)

Hi peeps well here I am three weeks post op and five surgeries in eleven months laters? I will say I'm exhausted now but glad I've done it this way really even though I have moments when I think bloody hell ya must be crazy ? I'm pleased with the results so far but I must admit I'm glad I lost weight and got fit so I could do it this way ? I've had a catheter in situ for the last three weeks and won't be getting it out till the 10th of January that's been really irritating I can tell ya. I was warned by the nursing staff that this stage was painful and wow has it lived upto expectations :/ the pain from the vaginechtomy has been loads and I've had to resort to dichlofenac and tramadol to stem it and still using both at this stage which I'm not cool about as I hate takin pills but hey ho no choice :/ Any how ill update ya again soon staples out later today from mini tummy tuck I was cheeky to get it lol ? xx Felix

Hang in there Felix. I'm glad to hear everything is progressing and you're pleased with the results. At least the nursing staff didn't lie to you about how bad this stage could be for pain but it sucks they had to be right.

Take care, be well, and heal quickly :hugs:

Update : Since I last posted I have been to London to have my catheter removed. everything is working in terms of my water works, I just have a small hole or fistula at the base of the shaft which I cover when peeing. They will fix that next time as it is quite a common occurrence. I have been in acute pain coz of the vaginectomy and last Thursday the doctor put me on amitriptyline to reduce the inflammation in the nerves in that area plus the tramadol plus diclofenac. My doctor asked me to ask the surgeon which type of vaginectomy he did on me as there are three types so she can change the treatment if necessary so I've emailed the nurse specialist to see if she can find out for her. This combination of drugs is helping but the underlying pain is still there and I know if I wasn't taking them it would be back to square one as if I'm late with any of them the pain starts creeping back.

Another complication I had was the appearance of what we thought was a boil and on the 4th of January we discovered it was a sabasious cyst and I was admitted for surgery so that was 6 ops in 12 months. Its left me pretty exhausted this last op but I'm still glad I've got the big ones out the way :) xx Felix xx

yes, quite the man alright. dude, that sounds really harsh. i'm sorry you're going through so much pain in recovery, i can only hope this pain ends for you soon and that everything works out how it should. you are indeed a brave man going through all of this and it's so kind of you to share in this much detail with us. we're really lucky to be hearing of your journey so personally.

coming from a FTM perspective -:D yeehawww! must be awesome to have it working in that way already. sorry again about the pain, but way cool on the practical side of things. :)

keep on keepin' on, can't wait until you're all healed and back with us for a bit longer again. i look forward to getting to know you better.

Felix. I'm sorry to hear about the pain and the cyst that developed. I'm encouraged to hear parts are working, albeit still needing some "tweaking". It takes quite a man to deal with what you've gone through. You're an inspiration to many here. :hugs:

Awwwww thanx Ladies and Gents you're all so kind and supportive :) I keep saying I'm gonna post pics but I'm not quite sure if they'd be allowed or which forum to post them in as an educational type thing. I was thinking maybe in the FtM transitioning anyone got any ideas? xx Felix :)

Sometimes Felix when I read about one of us going through so much physical pain when a lot of us had a life time of emotional pain already, I wonder if the surgeries are really worth it in the long run. Myself looking at the opposite bottom surgery, I am just not sure. Oh I want it all right, more than I can put into words. The pain issues and long recoveries really scare me though.

Nevertheless, I am so happy for you and glad you are over the hump and on the downside to home and finally living your life they way you want too. Congrats!

Thanx peeps your suppoert and kind words mean so much to me they really do :):):)

I've looked at the rules and I don't think I can put any pics of my surgeries on the site :( oh well lol but I assure you all I'm really pleased with everything so far. It's all been worth it and as they say no pain no gain ;) well Jez ya can say that again for sure lol

My cyst is healing well its in the third week of treatment now and we've been using a gel that encourages granulation it's amazing stuff coz its working well. I don't think the small hole at the base of my phallus will heal to be honest coz the area is far to moist for obvious reasons. It has become tiny though but not small enough to close completely so I will probably have to have a small graft to fix it which will probably mean catheterization again but tough its all in the course of a good end result lol.

Well that's about it for now so take cares and remember only you will know at the end of the day when and if you are ready to go on the surgical journey. To take the step and go forward to a new life and yes it's scary and exciting and don't hold ya breath for too long coz I can say jump with all confidence it's worth it :) I'll never look back and say I regret this decision, something major would have to happen for that and I mean major. xx Felix :)

Hi there! It's great to hear from you again, and congratulations on your surgeries. Except for the fistula. At least it's in an easy-to-fix place, though.

As long as you keep them in the Boys' Clubhouse - away from the eyes of our more innocent members - it should be okay. I don't think anyone here is going to mistake your photos for pornography, and if they do Mistundersood or I can clear up the matter with them.

Thanx KrazyKat :) xx

Hi Misunderstood and Anonymouse,
I was thinking Re the pics, earlier in my thread about surgeries some of the women were really interested to see what us men go through because its something that isn't really put out there for the women to access. I was thinking it may help and give those who want to know a greater understanding of what we go through and a better knowledge of what is available now as opposed to some of the older pictures that are out there on the net. I was thinking I might wait until everything is complete chest and lower surgery and then if possible put it in the FtM Transitioning as its private and one can join if its for the proper reasons unless that's changed. I'm looking on this as an educational thing when I do it so what do you think??? xx Felix :)

Felix good news you can post your pics in the FtM TS section. What I would do when you post them put in the title area of your new thread name put something like" If easily offended please do not click on this thread because it contains pics of my GRS surgery" or something like that. That way people who might take offence can just not look. If you can come up with better title go for it. Just warn some how so people can not complain about it. I will make sure it goes well if people have a problem. I am trusting you to use good judgement on what you post. Also please add that you have permission from Mod's to post this.

Hey Felix. I'm happy to hear the fistula is healing, hopefully you won't need a graft to completely heal it, you've been through more than any guy should. It sounds like except for that you're healing well and that's great news. :hugs: hang in there guy, you're almost there

I really happy for you with all that you are doing toward becoming the person you've always been, but never could be untill now. I someday wish to do the same. It's nice to know what you go through during the process.
