Is Urnotalone.com a good site?

It seems like a great TG resource. But I see cash is involved if you want more features. I'm so lost out here in Strongsville that if it is worth it I would love to pay for a way to connect to my TG friends.

Anyone use this site? Im trying to find reviews for it.

It can be of value, particularly if you live away from the bigger towns where it's harder to find others. I think you'd have to give it a try and decide for yourself whether it's worth your while.

Hi Jenny. I have used the site in the past. It really is a mix of content from CD's to transvestites to transsexuals. They also have people looking for more intimate relationships. I have met two from that site a long time ago and both turned out to be great people to know. They also have some good contact info for LGBT support resources when you do a search for members near you. So, it is a bag of mixed stuff. I don't know it it has changed since the last time I was on the site, maybe a year ago, but you can join for free with limited access to the sites features, post a pic within the site's guidelines then you have access to more content for free. I also think that the annual fee was quite low compared to dating sites. Give it a try under a fake name and see if you like it. If you don't just cancel your subscription.

It was the first site I got on, 6 years ago.... I haven't updated my profile in years.... This is definately THE best place to chat about TG issues.... Urnotalone always seemed to border on being a TG pron site... lol

Depends on what you want. If you're looking to network with other girls, here or Pink Essence. URNA is okay if you're looking to hook-up with a guy and are willing to pay for the advanced features.

Hi, Jenny.. take what others have said as it is good if your remote and reaching out to others. Also with the additional support information, etc is there. I am a member of the site and add this site to it along with a local meetup group, I have a wealth of support and friends. It does have a chat room (which some have asked about getting one here), but it can be a zoo with predators, manly men. Still I have met a few on there (not in person) that I can call friends.

Do what others recommended and try it for free. I pay about $15 for 3 months. At this point I'm not sure why i'm a member since I mainly go there for chatting..and there other free choices for that. Still you might find other means of support that suit you from the site. Good luck.

In my experience, the site was creepy and they will never, ever actually delete your profile no matter how many times you try.

I marked everything from them as spam and years on I still get regular emails from them.

I too began my journey of chatting in a CD room at URnotAlone. That was quite a few years ago now and it has been nearly two years since I was there mostly because IMHO the room had changed from a group that were there to support each other to a date location. I have found a wonderful realtime chat room, tgchatroom.com that is just what I want in a room, support, open dialoge and no sex talk nor trolls looking for a date. The couple that own the site are very diligent about keeping it from turning into the same room that UR turned into and so are the individual members.

I have two favorite rooms, tgchatroom for real time discussion, and this room for honest information.

URnotalone's "T-Party" was one of the first places I went out en femme, and so I'm grateful for that. They used to actually produce and host some pornographic stuff, but in recent years they made a point of reducing their focus on "Adult" stuff as far as content goes and be more of a networking site, which I like, except that they do charge which is a dealbeaker for me because nothing they offer can't be done on here or even flickr, facebook or myspace, all for free.
