Dressed up for a gig?

Have any of the many musicians on here ever dressed up or thought about dressing up while on stage? Seems like it would be very liberating. I have though about it but never actually attempted at it.

I did once when I was much younger. We played a singles dance on Halloween. Everyone in the band dressed up. No one thought a thing about it. Wished I could have done that every night.
