Ok. So my wife left me. Matter other than dressing. She didn't know. My question now is where do I go to make friends who are also crossdressers and/or transgender?

Wow... You are out in the boonies!! lol I've been to Sydney.... and I have chatted with girls in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne ... Perth and they have large TG populations but you aren't even close to the major cities... Probably have to do some traveling? You on FaceBook?? Lots of Ozz girls on there.... Seahorse club QLD, Brisbane Tgirls, Trannie Radio are worth a try. Google them and check the website for contact details.

Sorry it's taken me a while to respond. I rarely have time to wade through all the threads here.

I did a bit of checking, and found a group called transbridge. Their contact details are on this page http://www.changelingaspects.com/LinksPages/Support%20Groups.htm (scroll down to find them).

Tranny Radio is probably the best web site for finding other Trans people near you anywhere in Australia. http://www.trannyradio.com

A quick check shows 6 members in and around Townsville. I've chatted with 3 of them in the chat room attached to that site at various times, and are happy to meet and chat with others.
