Clothing malfunctions

There is a similar thread but it's about (you know) not clothes. So I wondered about our real wardrobe malfunctions and how embarrassing was that?

My latest was an errant breast form that kept wandering. First left them right the it kind of rotated. My face was red under my troweled on makeup. I had to head for the ladies room to try to fix it and hide. I went home and trashed that bra.

Another time it was my wig. For some reason it decided to gap just behind my left ear exposing my brown and gray boy hair and a piece of the cap. I was unaware but a very good waitress suggested I needed a trip to the ladies room and very discretely pointed to her head. My wife got her meaning and we both went in to fix it. She got a great tip!

So how about yours?

Well for me the typical wardrobe malfunctions are nails coming off and runs in my hose. So I carry a spare pair of panty hose in the car's glove box and nail glue in my purse.

I used to have a close TS friend who, pre-SRS, pre-hormones and pre-transition nevertheless presented as female (in appearance and dress, but was open and honest about being TG) in public to an unashamed and liberated degree.

The story she told is that one night, while enthusiastically line dancing in a low-cut dress at a bar, one of her boobs popped out! It was a source of good-natured laughter to the patrons, as she was already "out" to them anyway, and she had a good laugh along with everyone else. (Myself, I think I would have crawled into a hole and died...) :)

My most memorable 'wardrobe malfunction' to date was a thing that all girls dread just a but. After using the ladies room, my skirt somehow got tucked up in my pantyhose in the back and I returned to shopping. Fortunately, after about 10 minutes a woman in the crowded store pointed it out to me. I'm SO glad she did, since otherwise I might have been out all day like that as I went to several other stores!

As I walked into church I could feel my nylons slipping down off my thighs. I found a discreet spot in the stairway and hiked them up before going into the service. In the part of the service where we all stand up and "pass the peace" to each other, I stood up and felt them slipping again. I found the ladies room, removed the nylons, and went back to the service.

I had a skirt on that got momentarily caught in a car door and went all the way down to my high-healed feet. Thankfully, I had a slip on.

I just remembered another one. I was out to the movies wearing a skirt, black tights and just below the knee boots. Somehow during the movie the seam in the crotch of the tights kinda let go and once I stood up to leave was pinching my bits in a very painful way. I headed to the ladies room to fix the problem in what could only be described as a Monty Pythonesque Minister of silly walks kind of way. I'm sure I looked ridiculous and looking back it must have looked funny.
