I was just at the bottom of the forums and clicked on a couple of the CD links and saw some of the pictures of the gurls on the sites one site was looking for cders in your area, Just kinda gross or trashy looking for a word to use, cause on here the pics of all of you, I don't look at any of you gurls that way. and I don't think of myself being dirty I mean I realize I am not good looking as a woman,
Why is it that I look at it/them that way, any Ideas?
I mean I like sex as much as anyone but I am NOT into porn sites at all unless it is just soft porn of women or am I the one that is sick?

Is there 2 sides of cder's like good gurls and the ****ty ones or maybe ones that put out and ones that don't?

The spectrum of what a CDer is is pretty varied. It's good to note that sexuality is separate from gender, at this point, and from there formulate your opinion of someone based off of questions you should ask them. It makes for a riveting conversation, seeing as how CDers come from different backgrounds and are a bit different from one another.

With that said, the links below are ads. If you start looking at the personals, some of them even use real GGs! In fact, I think there was a thread here a while back talking about how there were these 10 CDers in this search result and it was impossible that they'd exist considering that the person who did the search lived in a small town and she'd never seen these people before!

Hi,

This will depend on the person concerned. wether c d or just people .in the work room , smoko room where ever there are men ,it allways seemed to me to be talk about wonen in a way that was very degrading , so i walked out , That was an affront to me as a woman tho i was not seen as one , the pics on the walls denoted the same ,, as a woman that hurt me , this was then 46 years ago,

How i dress, is nicely as a woman of my age I do take pride in my apprance how i look & my demeaner as a womam thats important to me. i dont have the looks as a woman & thats not a issue , as im accepted as i am.

Many men see girls / women only as a sex symbol or what they can get from them , would this have any thing to do with how they are in side in dressing as women, so your terms of refernce are in line with what your saying , for many its a sexual thing.

I have no problem with the sexual side of a close friendship or ill say past tense , had ,its not a part of my life now.

Ill say it this way men & how they think or wired . is it a turn on for men . you know dont you , its yes & its how far you go with it .
Each person is different in how you or they deal with it.

I'm going to try to not be judgementl, but I doubt if I will be successful.

I personally find these links and the porn associated with them offensive. I am torn between someone's right to free speech and to "enjoy" porn if that is their desire, and what I see as a detriment to my well being. I believe that, to a large part, much of society associates being transgender with porn like this, and I fear that until we can break that association, we will never achieve the rights that we find so allusive. I also attribute, to some extent, these kind of sites to my inability, for so many years, to come to terms with being transgender. For most of my life I felt that this part if me was sick and perverse, and these sites only helped to reinforce those feelings. For years, if I did an Internet search trying to find out about what was going on in my head, all I would find is porn. This only served to make me feel even more perverted and dirty, drove me deeper into the closet and self denial, and usually led to a purge.

As evidence to the detriment that I think these site are, I was on a flight last week, and the airline was offering free onboard internet service as a holiday promotion. I cheched my email and the weather at my destination. But when I tried to log onto crossdresses.com, access was denied because of the adult content, or what the ISP perceived as porn.

I hate to deny anybody their right to view what they want, but I fear that as long as these sites exist and perpetuate the link between crossdressing and porn, we will be to a large extent, forced to remain in our closets.

Just my opinion.

Grace,
Bobbi

Personally I wish this site could get sponsored ads from some other sources like womens clothing stores or at least more upscale adult sites like adam and eve, because it does to me feel counter-productive to have those links on here, but they've got to pay their bills somehow or else we wouldn't be here.

My theory is that the CD world is a small crosssection of the general population.
And among the CD's you have all the same variations present as in the whole population.
So there are CD's who put out, those that dont, those who dress ****ty and those who prefer a very ladylike look.

I often wonder who these ads are targetted at, and how succesful they are.
Sometimes I think they are targetted at lurkers.

Maybe we should make sure and click links we like, if they get traffic they advertise if not they wont.

Those links and adds are completely bogus and counter productive to the support community that this site is SUPPOSED to be.

BTW: Go to that 'crossdressers by state' link for any state and click on 'reload' several times. The number it shows you is radically different every time and is obviously just generated randomly. Kind of funny if it wasn't such a sad attempt to soak lonely people for money.

Cristi you are correct.. to quote ReineD in a previous discussion on this topic ..
I've just clicked on a few states, and they all lead to the same place! But the address bar shows addresses that differ in only a fairly long number (in numerical sequence from the prior clicks), as if it is a number assigned to each individual click. And then when you get to the sign up place, your IP's state location is placed in the State search box. Which means they keep track of the IPs that click on the links

and with that this thread is not needed
