Snow day today! I may stay dressed all day. Still have my long white nightgown on. I'll put on my pink apron and clean up around the apartment. What about you?

Nope... Were going downtown and watch our local hs hockey team play on one of the out door Winter Classic rinks and then hit the casino...

Been there done that! Just pick a spot and start. Be sure to take a brake now and then because many people will have heart attacks trying to shovel all the snow. Use your head and be safe.

Down here in DC/ Northern Virginia, we only got a slight dusting of snow. I had to come to work at my normal time (there's only 4 other people on my entire floor here today too...everyone else is on vacation). I did dress around the house last night though and did some cleaning.... wifey doesn't mind that at all.

My Daughter is visiting tomorrow so I am cleaning up the place too.
Not quite so easy in 4” heels but much more fun!
The snow here in the U.K. is beginning to melt at last.
But I have been looking on the T.V. news and seeing all the snow in the U.S.
Now I must get on and get all my girly stuff put away.
Have fun girls.

Boston received over 2 ft in certain areas and I think my backyard was one of them! Wore a long sleeved leotard, fleece pull over, jeans, parka and knee high boots to go shoveling. Took over an hour just to free up the SUV from the driveway and was drenched in sweat. Now at work, its a womens turtleneck, sweater, hosiery, skirt and heels. Having an isolated and restricted office certainly has its benefits! Enjoy the snow, at least its pretty!

here on LI NY I received about 15 inches of snow. Tried to go to work in the am but the roads were blocked. Oh well poor me I have to stay home. I just finished removing the snow from driveway and house. With a snowblower it took two hours. Now Back inside with my wife drinking tea warming up. Guess we will sit in front of the fire place and read a book and sleep the day away. After I redo my nails that took a beating outside.

In Virginia Beach we got slammed. Not really horrible here, but everything slightly inland is deep in snow. We had about 8" and it's drifty.

I can't say that we have been "slammed" with a snow storm yet, but we have been "hit" with about four. Each one added 5 to 7 inches of snow - 3of the 4 were heavy wet snow storms (not a lot of drifting) and that caused a lot of settling or packing down, but we have about 18 inches of snow cover on the ground. The problem here is where to put the stuff. I have piles nearly 5 feet deep on either side of my driveway, and next to my driveway there is anywhere from 3 to 5 feet of snow pile up.

If we get slammed like New York any time soon, we will be in deep trouble trying to find a way to clear it up.

So, ladies, I sympathize with you. Best wishes and keep warm. Remember, June is just 5 months away.

well in Greensboro we ended up with about six inches of snow, and considering I'm on vacation this week and I won't deal with the people around there who can't drive in rain much less snow, i took off with my spouse to Wilmington for the week. And its a week of Kym 24/7 which will extend in to full time when we return to Greensboro. I love it.

I get into my Tahoe, and push the button on my control stick; Down Plow, and put
the truck in drive. Wow, snow all gone. And doing this while dressed is a plus. Rader

no snow here. just a inch of inches of rain in the past three days. but a short number of miles east the mt's have had a very good snow, so we have water to drink this summer. but alas la is going to take most of it. by law they get 50% of what they should get non of.

Oh, how I long for some deep snow! I miss the stuff. I know, you all think I'm nuts. But, rain, rain and more rain drives me crazy. I'd love to put on a mid calf dress, boots and walk in the snow- not two feet worth, but, maybe 6-8 inches of the white stuff. I get a rush with cool or cold air blowing up my dress and caressing my thighs. My spouse thinks anybody wanting to wear a dress in cold weather is totally nut!

I've been busy with work, but tomorrow I have the day off. I just got out of the bathtub as Jess, and my girlfriend suggested I get into my maid outfit and start dusting the apartment while she is taking her bath. Tomorrows agenda is going to be relaxing around the house doing some cleaning in comfortable clothes. Matching Bra and Boy Shorts, sweat pants and a tight fitting t-shirt to hang out for the day. My g/f has the day off too, so I'm sure I'll be doing some chores around the apartment.

Nothing related to housework I assure you. Will probably eat bon-bons and watch soaps.:battingeyelashes::)
