Do you think they knew ???/

Yesterday I had popped into a supermarket to buy some sandwiches for lunch.

I had not been in there before, so quite quickly got lost and wandered about the aisles.....then I came across the clothing section, which was a single side of panties, childrens clothes.....and a sale on tights, hold-ups, knee lengths etc....all reduced to 50 pence per pair....

Needless to say I got to the till with 2 packs of sandwiches and 15 pairs of assorted sexy fishnet and patterned hosiery....

I jokingly replied to the shop assistant that if I was lucky my wife might wear some of them later. The two women queuing behind me then exchanged glances, and one leaned forward and said quietly, 'if you're lucky, you might wear them yourself ?'........

What do you think ?

I think they probably knew. Most men don't even dare go into sections of stores that have exclusively women's items. I was just at a store the other day myself looking at some shoes. In less than one minute, I could feel a pair of eyes staring my direction and there was an older woman probably in her 50's that was staring at me intensely try to figure out why I was looking in the women's shoe section. The fact that I was looking at the size 11's may have given me away, but this woman was out right staring at me as if I was naked or doing something obviously wrong.

I think that they may have know. And the lady that leaned toward you and said you might get to where them, well I think she was not at all put out by you buying and whearing them. So that is great.

I've mixed in a few "female" purchases into larger purchases or bought an item of clothing for my "girlfriend." and no one's seemed to bat an eye. Maybe they suspected, maybe they didn't, but if they did they showed no sign of it.

But yeah, 15 pairs is a bit obvious. ;) OTOH, as others have said, the sky didn't fall in and at least one of them didn't seem to have a problem with it.

Anyway, I have the feeling that when you asked if we suspect they knew you were making the point that they probably did. ;)

I think those ladies were truly thinking, "Now, there's a man who would boldly browse in the women's department and buy me the most wonderful clothes. I wish my guy had the cahunas to do that."

I envy your levels of comfort with making those purchases without letting it ruffle you. I've made two women's clothing purchases in person now, but I haven't bought anything like lingerie or cosmetics -- just a skirt and top once and a dress the second time.

Maybe I should try fishies? :)

Oh yeah they knew. When I was with my ex she would send me to the store to get nylons or what not and it was usually for one pair, it being 15 I am sure they knew. It use to boter me, now I buy womens clothes as I was going to buy a pair of mens boxers. Don't worry be happy
