So, I've found a doctor

As many of you know, way back on Tuesday I told my therapist (Carol) that I felt ready to start hormones. That went great, Carol was very happy for me and offer to help any way she could.
So my next step was to find a doctor. I did some searching online. One local TG group had a doctor they recommended but I checked out the website and it seemed too new agey to me. Lot of mentions of herbs and holistic medicine. I don't want herbs and holistic, I want regular medicine.
So I emailed a local large medical clinic. First I got a response from Jill a customer service rep who said she could help me find a doctor. Okay, sounds good.
Today I got an email back saying that she had found two doctors that said they would help me and I just needed to chose one then she would help me make an appointment.. So I picked out a female family medicine doctor and gave Jill some times that would be good for me.
So now I'm on my way.

I'm very excited about this!!!!

Quick update. I got another email saying that I could go ahead and call Jill to schedule my appointment so I did. Monday 24 jan 10:20 AM!
Plus the name it's under is Stacey!

Sounds like you chose very well, in several ways !! I use a family med doc too, he consults with an endo if questions come up that he is unsure of.
