Where can I find out what pageants take place around me?
I want to check a few out. :o

Also do you know if you have to be gay to compete?
I looked up drag pageants on google and the first one that came up had the title of "Miss Gay USA" for the winner or something like that :thumbsdn:

I think what you are lookng for is the International/Imperial Court System (http://www.impcourt.org/). I do not believe there is a chapter in Maryland, but there chapters in near by states. The club I go to hosts a number of our local Court events. The organization raises money for many LGBT charities.
