View Full Version : You're shivering, princess

Friday night, my wife and I hired a baby sitter and went out on a date. It was a cold night, and as we are walking from dinner to the movie theater, she says to me "You're shivering, princess!" "I am not a princess!" I reply with as much fake indignation as I can muster, but then add "...at least not tonight." We both have a big chuckle and she just said, "You are so awesome." I love that we can have little moments like this, and its nice to hear her support my crossdressing even though she has done it many times before. Although she still doesn't like to see me dressed, I think we are in a very good place, and I consider myself very lucky.
By the way, we went to see "The Black Swan" which was quite good. If I only had one word to describe it, I would say "visceral." The movie is really good at striking a nerve.

Well sounds like all is good.
Funny how spouses like to poke fun at a TG's dressing, not always in a bad way either.
My ex, being the feminine, dainty (NOT) woman she was, she used to jokingly talk like some abusive husband.
BITCH! Make my dinner. BITCH! Get over here and....
It was in a joking way of course, kind of weird to hear a GG mock spousal abuse.
We ended up later divorcing, partially over me being TG but also just too many differences, we were tired of dealing with each other's crap.

Why would she not want to see you dressed? You look awesome.

My wife loves to call me little pet names that are directed at my dressing. Some of them are down right offensive (hehe)! By calling me these names she is acknowledging my fem side and that she is accepting of it. I love when she does this. She will even text me using these names and it gives me a huge smile to get those.

That sounds like you two are in a really good place. I would love to get to a similar place with my wife. I know she is slowly coming to grips with this so maybe in a few years we will have this playfulness about Christy. Congratulations and I agree that you look awesome.

My wife and I are always like that with little pet names and saying things taken to be in refence to my dressing we laugh together and think nothing of it

One of the many joys of acceptance is the ability to share a little humor about cding.

My wife fully supports what i do but will not let me go out, Probably a good thing.. I do it when she's not home though. As for the names, i do get some, but in general she refuses to say anything.

I love it when my wife calls me anything fem, princess is especially good though. It doesn't get much better than that. This morning she left a note to Michelle to have a girly day, it makes my whole day. Yesterday we went on a makeover site and she used her new camera to scan my picture into it. We spent a few hours working on my hair, makeup and accessories, with good results. I will be posting my pics on my avatar this week.

That's a sweet story, Jamie! At least you didn't suffer through "Tron," like I had to!
