i have not dressed for more than two months already. slight more than a month back, i told myself, i would give some time, and when i could really not go near my 'secret drawer', i would sell all my stuff. 'smart purging', you could call it.

i believe that time has come. i must admit it is with a bit of regret. i'll always remember the days when i wore those clothes.

i know there are probably some skeptics here who believe this is only temporary, that i will be back. i can't say for sure i will totally stay off crossdressing for the rest of my life, but i hope i will.

farewell.

Good luck Val. Don't be surprised that once the clothes are gone, the desire will return. If you want to stop, and having the clothes nearby helps in this regard, then keep them nearby. They aren't in the way are they?

I agree with Donna here.....purging is very expensive. But at least you have an excuse to update your wardrobe !!

Best Wishes Val. Take care of yourself.

A girl/boy must do what a girl/boy must do, but what a pity, how sad 'to give up something so precious, to throw away the pearl.'
Good luck love, whatever you decide, just try to remember us.

Hi

I hope that you are able to find peace with yourself, and be successful in purging the urge to crossdress in the future, as long as it does not put you in any internal turmoil.

Best of luck

Good luck to you, Val Tan.
Not everyone who purges returns to an "un-purged" state, but, either way, you are always welcome here. :)

Val it's ultimately what I'd like too, but although it's not a consistent thing with me, it was gone for 4 years and to my surprise, returned. Currently have been in drab for almost 6 months and counting with no urge and no regreats, but something about it tells me it's likely to return. I've purged about 6 or 7 times, the current crop of femme stuff I've had for about 2 yrs but have only used it 3 times. I'd be interesting if there were statistics on this..frequency and duration..are there lifelong cd'ers who've "kicked" the habit and never returned?..I wonder.

If you are going to get rid of the stuff then I suggest keeping one item that "works" for you, but isn't hard to hide or explain away. Then you haven't got the paranoia of a "secret drawer" but you do have a safety net if one day you are just in the mood.

Good luck with it.

Hi, :)

Whether you get to this goal or not, as someone else posted, you are welcome here. May you find peace.
