I'm still a little in shock. Breathe........Breathe

So I usually have Friday afternoons off. This afternoon, I decided to dress up and go to a movie. I saw "Tangled" (by Disney). It was a really cute movie & my girl side kicked in a little harder than usual. I was getting really emotionally involved in the movie. I almost cried. I can only assume this atributed to this event.

I went to the 2:15 PM show. Only 5 or 10 people were there. Several with small children. So after the movie while the credits are running, I'm sitting there watching the credits and this guy with his 7 year old daughter (they sat a row behind me) asked me where the nearest Wal-Mart is. I stop a minute and answer in my best girl voice. Then he tells me it's his daughter's birthday. I reply as any excited female and ask how old she is. Then he asks me if I'm Single! :o I politely say no. Then he asks "Is there any chance we could exchange phone numbers?" I politely say no again.

I sat there stunned for a moment. Then gathered my stuff, stood up and watched the credits till he left. I walked out of the theater to go to the restroom and saw him about 50 feet in front of me walking slowly with his daughter. I was headed to the restroom because I reallly had to go. He turned the corner to go toward the restroom & I quickly changed course to go to another restroom. While in the restroom (yes I use the ladies room) I sat there a minute and gathered my wits. I came out of the restroom and fortunately there was no sign of him. I headed to my car and I kept looking back to see if I was followed. I drove across the street to Target and wandered there looking a t things for 20 minutes while still in kind of a daze. Then I headed home as the fog started to lift.

I'm married and NOT interested in guys that way, but it sure is nice to be invited to the party.

I'd like to add that this guy was fairly nice looking. He looked a little like a 30 year old George Lopez, not fat. He was wearing a neck tie and dress shirt like he had taken the afternoon off to take his daughter to the movie.
He was nice, not pushy and took no to really mean no.

I had conflicting emotions. I was stunned, scared and then happy that I was pretty enough to have this happen.

Update:

I told my wife what happened. I was scared she wouldn't let me out of the house again so I hesitated when I told her. She just kind of giggled with that "now you know what it's like" look on her face. Then she said "you're a big boy, I think you can handle yourself." I REALLY love my wife.

This is a HORRIBLE pic but I had to do it in a hurry. This is what I was wearing.

I have to give you credit for not scarring him for life as punishment for trying to get involved with a woman who says she's in a relationship. If it were me, that would have been just enough of an excuse to scratch my crotch and say, in my manliest voice, "Here ya go, sweet cheeks! You can call me any time!"

I can tell you're not interested in men because you didn't say whether he was good looking or not. :)

Hi Kim. Thanks for sharing! This certainly seems to indicate that you are presenting yourself very well!

That has to be the best compliment any girl can get. As noted above, if I saw you in a similar situation I would do the exact same thing.

Looking at your picture, I'm stunned that YOU are stunned. You look more like a pretty GG than most GG's. Rock on Girl!!

Hi Kim,
Welcome to the world of out & about transgenderism. IMO, being approached & sometimes asked by guys is actually a good thing, even if guys aren't your thing. That shows that you are actually doing something right....though some of these guys can get a bit annoying.

Look on the bright side: it's a very feminine/female/woman thing to have guys chase you, which makes being out in public a rather unique experience. Occasionally you will have to encounter the wolf that won't go away. I'm a boring straight guy that has to lay down the message at some point if a guy persists. I just like dressing up as a woman and going out, and that's about it.

Thanks for the compliment. I think I look average to good as a female, but I NEVER thought I would be hit on. Especially in a movie theater.

You are too kind. I guess I really am pretty to some men.

Natalie,

I guess you are right. I should expect it. And it is Definately a female thing. I now know how a GG feels. I'm with you, I just like to dress up as a woman and go out and do everyday things. I guess this is an everyday thing for some GG's.

BTW, I was wearing my female "wedding ring".

That is great that you got the attention! OK, so he's a creep for hitting on a married woman, but still! I can see why he found you attractive. You're a doll!

Kim, that is quite a compliment. Don't be so shocked, because you look great. But it sure doesn't hurt to get reminded of it in a nice way every now and then.

Kim,
If you don't already have a set, I would suggest you get yourself an engagement and wedding ring set on your ring finger ASAP. I bought a fake pair for about $25 on the Internet. I would probably never be hit on but I wanted the added indication that I was not available if anyone was stupid enough to hit on this old hag.

LOL. Sometimes I feel that way, but obviously beauty is in the eye of the beholder (or his guide dog).
