What's the first female thing you put on when you have "girl" time?

Hi all...though I haven't posted much since being a member I sure do read the forum several times a week. I have to admit, when I have "Aimee" time the first thing I do is slip on a bra first, then panties usually with pantyhose and then lip gloss or lipstick. What does everyone else grab first?
P.S. I'm a closeted cd and wife has no idea; she would just die if she found out:eek:

Well, it is impossible to be dress en femme with one article of clothing, except for nightgowns. So, first it is either a white or black garter girdle followed by matching color bra and panties. Then whatever hosiery will complement my dress. But, after said undergarments, then a matching slip. If I am going to lounge as indicated, I have to wear a pair of heels. Then one of my wigs. And, finally one of my dresses.

I am home 24/7 so available time is not an issue. My divorce will be final in about two weeks and the person renting part of the house is totaly accepting of my dressing. She even will correct fashion faupaxs. I've known her 39 years and she is the best friend I have. After shower panties, and night clothes. Morning bra and forms, jeans or shorts and a top and start my day.

My full dressing usually starts with some foundation shapewear, either big industrial-strength knickers or a one-piece to give me a semblance of a curvy hourglass figure (usually with very limited success). Then it's bra (if I'm not in a one-piece) followed by falsies, then tights if I'm wearing a skirt. Next is makeup (there's something delicious about being all trussed up when you're applying your war paint) then my main outfit followed by wig and accessories

It depends a bit on the circumstances but there's a reason why bras and girdles are called foundation garments. On a very few, rare occasions, when I have been on my own overnight at home, I have been able to do things exactly as my wife always did. Going to bed at night, the last items to be taken off were the bra, then the nightdress went on and finally stockings were unfastened and the girdle removed. To wake up in the morning and see, draped over the bedroom chair, a slip with bra and stockings laid over it and then the girdle, looking rather stiff. lying on the chair seat was a lovely experience...and then to see my wife putting them on in reverse order (except for fresh stockings) was a very good start to the day. So, when I'm on my own, I do the same, but now the clothes on the chair are my clothes. Because it's still only a rare thrill for me, I feel excited at seeing my girdle and bra waiting for me but I can understand, especially if the girdle has to be firm and the bra strong, that women who performed this ritual every morning might have seen it differently.

Anyway, to answer the question, in those home-alone circumstances I get out of bed and put on my girdle. These days it has to be a firm, high-waisted one. I then sit on the bed and put on my stockings, stand up and pull up some panties before taking off my nightdress. Next comes the bra - which needs to be a long-line one if I am going to wear anything that needs to fit into the waist. At that point, in the words used by an earlier contributor, I am "trussed up" and ready to select a skirt and top or dress. Almost always I'll put on a slip (long or short) first.

I must admit I am a bit confused by the use of the word "First" thing? Do you mean first because I like it the most? Or first because I may have limited time and cannot go all the way? If it is simply first as in chronologically, then i dress like most people so: underware first then outerware!

The act of getting dressed is actually part of the fun for me. I want to experience dressing just like a woman does so I put on my breast forms first to help my body assume the female form. Then I put on my wig so I am now a naked woman who needs to get dressed. I actually enjoy the movements and challenges associated with getting clothes on around long hair and breasts. These are some of the signature female movements!

If there is precious little girl time and I can only grab one thing.....it is almost always my wig. Amazing how even in a unisex robe, the long hair makes me feel very feminine.

I Then can go through the tucking procedure, this is followed by a suspender belt and my choice of panties, stockings, then my Choice of shoes wether it be three quarter heels or flat's, I do prefer Heels tho'. If I am wearing make up this is the time I apply it leaving me to decide upon a dress or Skirt and top. I still like the bare midriff style and frequently opt for that. but I always wear female clothes even under my male atire, I love the feel of lace,
