View Full Version : How about a crossdressing reality show?
I was thinking it would be kind of fun to see a reality show that was centered around crossdressing. But what would it be about? Anyone have any ideas of what they might like to see in a CDing reality show?

Well they have that show 'The Swan' or whatever where people get incredible makeovers including surgery - FREE!! Something like that for CD's that wanted to go all the way. Or maybe just makeovers instead of surgeries. I dunno. Then they could do the "Guess the real females" gig. Whatever it be - I'd watch it! :-)

I was gonna say I wouldn't want any sort of show, but now that you mention it, that would be pretty cool. :D

That would be interesting to see a reality tv show about crossdressing, perhaps it would be something like the great race and survivor mixed all into one. Where you do challenges such as going into a department store in all clothing and walking out as convincing as you can as a woman, as soon as you walk out there will be a message for you to go to next challenge and you'd have to race others to the finish line or get kicked off and the winner choses what they want as a prize. I would watch something like that.

*Sigh*
Another great idea that inevitably would be used in exploitive and degrading ways if it were for real...Any time a new idea comes up for a TV show, some soul-less media giant (ESPECIALLY FOX) finds some way to inject a Jerry Springer type of feel to it. I hate this trend of sensationalism - it really reveals what shallow, insensitive, arrogant qualities we (Americans) possess in our culture . For example, I love the Discovery channel, but now it seems every show on there has an "extreme" soundtrack to it. Even the narrators on nature shows have changed - no more understated British guy telling us the beauty of the wild cheetah (or something) - now they're all obnoxious American versions of Steve Erwin! And lets not forget the word "extreme" in itself! Just one more word that advertisers have wiped their asses with so as to completely remove any meaning behind it. Thanks Mountain Dew!!! Uhhhh, sorry to hijack this thread:rolleyes: - Sometimes (frequently) I just get really frustrated with the state of society today:p . I can sometimes go off on rants so long and frantic I have difficulty breathing. You gotta take what I say with a grain of salt.

Hmmm.... "Awfully Pretty" is not something that I think is going to put us into the best light. But then - what reality TV show puts ANYTHING into a good light? I am a reality tv hater, by the way. ;)

group of men as they are transformed into women by their wives or girlfriends. Bruce Nash and his Nash Entertainment ("For Love or Money," "Who Wants to Marry My Dad?") are behind the project, which tracks the men as they live together in a house and are forced to live as women 24 hours a day, seven days a week. [B]Wow what a great idea can I take part? Please I what to take part!

Do a Joe Millionare type show, but have men compete for a CD's attention. She'd have to pass perfectly, though! In the end, she reveals that she is really a CD, and the guy has to decide this time! I think that would be interesting  .

that new show could go either way. i'm a reality tv hater too. i think it has the potential to be horried (just by virtue of it being a reality show) or to be interesting, but if i had to guess, i'd say it's going to be horrid, with the exception of the 2 or 3 girls at the end.

I love the Discovery channel, but now it seems every show on there has an "extreme" soundtrack to it.
The whole discovery networks have gone down the crapper. Every time I go to see what's on, it's inevitably a bunch of guys building motorcycles and hot-rodding cars. I used to like the idea of customizing bikes and cars, but it shouldn't be on the discovery channel!
I've switched to the NASA-TV channel for my little journeys into TV watchin'.

Maybe it's time for television to do a full season documentary type show about crossdressing. One that would show the world how widespread the phenomenon really is. Something that would "desensitize" people and get them used to the idea that crossdressing is here and they can't do a damn thing about it. Something that would show the world that women have been crossdressing for centuries and no one even notices but male crossdressers are not accepted. To expose that damn double standard once and for all.
