Hello everyone,

Thank you so much for all your help and support over the last few months, but as of this morning my relationship with my girlfriend has concluded. I guess it just came down to the fact that she was struggling to much with the issue that it was just better for us to move on and try to rekindle our friendship than to keep trying to keep our relationship afloat. I figured you guys might want an update and I truly did appreciate the advice, thanks to you we were able to make this transition as friends rather than enemies.

Anyways, I guess my real concern right now is that, for all of you single girls out there, how do you manage to integrate your crossdressing into your personal life with dating and meeting new people. I mean I'm far from ready to get back into the dating world but I guess I'm just interested in knowing how you go about finding people who will be.......non-judgemental.

Thanks in advance!
Steph

There are venues for people who want to meet and date crossdressers. These range from computer websites like alt.com, TG bars (or gay bars on drag night), TG/CD support groups and in some cases even church groups for TGs--I'm assuming that you are interested in meeting women, not men---my advice is to join one of the support groups for heterosexual cds like tiffany club in boston or tri-ess in some other cities. Good Luck

For me, meeting people was easy. Meeting people I was interested in and vice versa was easy. I wasn't ready to blurt out "I'm a cross dresser" or "I like wearing women's clothes" until I had a sense that this person (I was attracted to) was interested in me and was open minded enough to consider a relationship with me, even after hearing that statement.

The first step is not finding a person who is acceptiing or interested in cross dressers. Its meeting and getting to know people. Takeit from there.
