Hi, I know I saw a letter floating around that one would take to their doctor to have them sign stating that I was under medical treatment for changing my sex to Female.

I need this ASAP as my appointment with the doctor is Monday. If you have a copy of one could you please email me. (I believe my email address is in my profile).

Thanks all.

Here in Colorado you have to get that form from the DMV if it's what I think you are talking about. Is it for a gender marker change?

Well South Carolina does not allow gender marker changes so you will have to get a passort first then take it to the dmv and argue your point.

I recommend you start advocating in your state to change this. Gender marker change rules are not universal yet.

I don't know if that information is correct for SC, the blurb for VA is out of date. Here you have to get a form from the DMV and have your doctor sign it for a temporary change (18 months). After that just bring in your surgery letter for a permanent change.
