i love it if anyone can help me with support info for partners of us crossdressers. i introduced my wife to this site tonight after we had a long chat about my cd'ing. if anyone in eastern victoria, australia knows of a good councellor or psychologist that could help that would be great.

thanks

Danielle,

It's not clear whether you're asking for recommendations of a professional person, support sites, or both.

In the case of the latter, this forum is a great place for support. I also invite you to have a look at my personal web site to see if there's any information there that you might find beneficial to you and your wife.

A lot of girls here from there Danni, so you should get some good input.

First place I'd recommend is http://home.vicnet.net.au/~seahorse/

Congratulations on the long chat....that's a great start. The more the two of you can communicate about this, the better you will understand each other. If your wife would like some peer support from other women, we have a great group of ladies here who would be happy to talk to her.

Dixie Darling's site, which she posted above, has a lot of helpful information for wives. Another resource I would recommend is Helping Wives of Crossdressers to Understand and Cope (http://gendertree.com/Helping%20Wiv...s%20Dresers.htm).

Best wishes to both of you, and please feel free to PM me if there is anything else I can do for you.

HI, :)

An excellent site for help with spousal-approval issues is http://www.webdotgal.com/main/html/sohome.html

Both my GF and I have benefited from reading the posts by SOs.

I have learned more of what it is like for my GF, helping me understand how hard it is for her. In addition, of course, the SOs have a place to go where they can air their take on the issues.

I highly recommend that site, as well as this one, for the support both of you need.

thanks to you all. i told my wife about this site and she actually got mad at me for keeping it from her!! she joined as monniGG and she has posted a similar question. as we live in the country, where it seems everone is so narrow minded and not as accepting as in the big cities, it does make it hard. i would love to get a recommendation from someone for a councellor that they have had experience with.

thank again

Danni
