I did a lot of Internet search before I asked this question.

Which would be a good convention for tgirls to go to?
I've been to Southern Comfort in 2004. Way back then....it was fun but I don't live in the US.

Is there similar events in Asia / Australia / Europe?

What are the good conventions to go to in the US for 2011?

As far as the UK goesSome of my best moments in my early years were spent at the annual "Harmony Weekends" in the South of England,three days spent with other TG guys n girls,making new lasting frienships and enjoying fab girly experiences,another Transgender event is "Miss TV Scotland" held in Fife,which attracts people from all over the UK and overseas I would highly recommend either of these events

I don't know of any conventions outside the US and the only one I've attended in the states is BeAll in Chicago.

Hello everyone,

I am originally from Chicago and visit family there periodically, so when searching for CD/TV/TS/TG conventions I added it to my search. What I came up with is the Be-All Chicago Conference. This was a "first" find for me.

This year, from May 31st to June 5th, Be-All will be hosting their 29th Annual Conference, 10th year in Chicago/Chicago area. You can register for any or all of the 5 nights and six days.

I have decided that if my current situation changes, and I can acquire the money (I have been off work on disability since last July 22nd), I would love to make this my "First" public outing other than on Halloween. I have a cast on my right (primary) hand, due to multiple recent surgeries, and am very limited in my ability to dress, do makeup, do hair, etc... If my capabilities change I will be there, they have very strict dressing rules for seminars and onsite events, which are listed on the site. I think their night time venues might be a little more relaxed but you have to ask.

I have finally, at age 59 and 10/12th's (I'll be 60 on May 7th), decided to rid myself of an ongoing restriction in my life (my current wife) and search for my soul mate/accepting partner, which I haven't found yet. I want to meet other CD/TG/etc... groups/clubs for support and socializing and to attend "dressing" conventions and vacation opportunities with. I have decided I will not limit my future partner by age/race/gender/orientation but by sincerity, openness, support and love. Friends, Chatters, Etc... feel free to contact me. As roomies we can help each other with dressing (especially the corset), makeup, hair, etc... and we can also share/split other costs. I will be flying in to Midway Airport, which is more convenient than O'Hare, and may rent a car, even though they provide free or low cost transportation to their on and off site, day and night events.

Being from that area I can recommend the Oak Brook Mall, across the street (a fairly good walk) from the Hotel. I remember it as being upper scale, with most major fashion stores, so you can pick up another outfit readily if need be, or just go for an exercising walk. It would be nice if we could get a large group together to go shopping with, there is more fun in numbers.
