Letters or GRS

Today started like all the others, the alarm goes off at 5:30 am and the hussle to get dressed and my makeup put on. Coffee is made and breakfast bagel is toasted as I hussle around the house and then off to work for a 7:30 start. I had a three hour day and then off to the Center for Sexual Heath, Minneapolis U of M, and a session with my therapist. I had just seen her the afternoon before but this was not a group setting but a individual session.

Today was special because I was to recieve my letters for GRS. I thought I would get them and I would be like "okay thanks and bye". Nope it was like all the memories, experiences and tears rolled out as I realized this past year and half has been a journey I have waited for before I knew what it was I needed.

So here I am writing this with those letters next to me and a date with Marci Bowers the 4th of May. So to everyone thank you and wish you the best. Hugs Teri Jean :love:

First of all congratulations for reaching this important milestone.

Keep us informed of how everything goes with your surgery & post surgery because I am also thinking of possibly going to the US to see Marci Bowers myself. My choice at the moment is Dr Suporn in Thailand, however that also depends on who works out to give the best results and value for money. So your feedback would be really appreciated & I am sure a few others here will appreciate it as well.

April, I originally was set for the 5th but it was moved up a day and I will take a day early. :-D Thank you all and I will keep you all updated as time goes by. Kate you are so right but my insurance is covering 80% so the sting is less. Also the insurance would only cover here in the states.

Today was a day of paperwork and meetings with HR to be sure the stuff is done and in place as much as we can from this end. I have been forunate that they have been as supportive as the ladies and gentlemen we have here on this site. I have listen to so many stories of hardships and trials from so many and I have had a few also but we have stuck together, if only on line, and supported each other through kindness we don't see everyday. For that I am so happy to have been a part of each of your lives in this small but powerful way. Huge hugs for all and a great big thanks.
