I recently had this crazy dream, and thought I'd share to try and get it out of my head.:bonk:

It started out with me and two other childhood friends of mine walking down a wooded path. I felt that we were going to school. One was super angry with me for some reason, I felt that I had ruined his clothes somehow. As a result he was wearing a forest green silk top and visibly disturbed that he was. My other friend mentioned to me that I should give him the baseball jersey I was wearing that I had just won (which is really odd, because first I would never own a sports jersey, and second I never win anything!:D). Without hesitation, we exchanged clothes. We then came upon some train tracks, he ran over and laid down on the tracks. I tried desperately to convince him that he should get off the tracks. I could feel the rage that he felt twoards me over the situation of his clothes. A couple seconds passed, and the train came and ran him over (quite graphically) as my friend and I wathched. Then I woke up.

Mostly the emotions felt were overexaggerated which was really weird for me. I rarely have dreams, and this one's got me a little stumped as to where my head is at.:hypnotized:

Could it be..... you are giving into and excepting who you really are? This childhood friend that the train ran over represents all the hate and hostilities that have come your way due to being different?

Ignore all those books and websites that try to explain all the crazy symbolism in your dreams -- teeth falling out means financial woes etc. -- its mostly a bunch of hooey.

Sometimes dreams are just dreams. I had one a week ago where I was at a geek/sci-fi convention in Canada with my brother and his roommates from college. We wandered around for a bit, checked out the convention, looked at attendees various costumes and outfits. And I talked my brother out of buying a $250 replica of Thor's Hammer. Then I woke up.

Science still hasn't been able to explain entirely what goes inside our heads.

Here's my take on dreams ( am I an expert? ):

Our brain gets lots of info during our waking hours. When we sleep, part of the rejuv process is to take the info that wasn't processed completely, and organize it and put it away or toss it. Now, the sub-cu is a strange beast and what we actually perceive vs. what we think of as "real" are two different things. Viewed without the "real" filter, these images can get pretty strange ( due to past associations made and hard wired). I think dreams are sort of a video high-light real of the re-organization of our perceptions for a day ( or two ). Clearly, my little theory doesn't have room for symbolism - it is just library work !

Okay, the folks at Harvard Psch Dept can call me, anytime, with that offer of a full professorship ! :lol2:
