I'm posting this as encouragement for those who aren't sure that there's somebody out there for them, but I proposed to my girlfriend (GG) of nearly 4 years on Valentine's, and she said, "Yes!" She knew about my crossdressing early on, and after a purge, a visit to couples therapy, and a few bumpy roads along the way, we've come out stronger than ever. Additionally, any time she asks about my dressing, and I reveal that I have, her response over the past year has been a very deep gaze into my eyes accompanied by a reassuring, "I love you." Plus, she seems to really enjoy how involved with wedding arrangements I am. :daydreaming: Anyway, thanks to everyone on hear for your support. I just hope that as I continue on my journey that I may be able to offer such sage advice as those words offered to me over the past few years.

Let me add my congratulations, it's always nice to see another example of love found, even for a crossdresser, there out there girls keep looking. But when you find one that accepts, and trys to understand, hang on tight and never let go, they are special.

Congrats!

I also told my wife well before we married and through a lot of therapy and communication we just celebrated our 15Th wedding anniversary! And yes, my wife is extremely accepting and loves to share girl time.

#1 advice you'll get is be honest, don't try to hide it, or promise that you'll "never ever do that again" ( you will ).

Wow! Seattle! I lived around there, for 28 years and did not find anyone. That takes some doing! It is even worse, around Rockford, Illinois! You are fortunate! I am not very good at relationships. Sounds like you two worked it out.

But... who's going to wear the wedding gown??

(Just kidding... you both are, aren't you?)

But... who's going to wear the wedding gown??

I was waiting for this comment as I read this thread! :)

No matter what, I expect that the visits to the bridal salon will be very entertaining!

Congrats, Kroma! U and your bride have a beautiful wedding and super loving honeymoon! They say that lasts about 2 or 3 years! Then, the HARD WORK usually starts!

And, I really hope u 2 make it thru the "tunnel of Hell"! That's what our minister described what he and others experienced at around 7 years in! We didn't make it thru the "tunnel"! And, it had nothing to do with CDing!
